We hand made this bullwhip from Top Quality Tanned Calf Skin, Top Grain Leather ("THE VERY BEST"). Long tapered strips called plaits are carefully cut to specs from each hide. Every set of bullwhip plaits are unique to that particular length and number of braids. Hand crafted by a skilled whip making family for over 35 years, it takes 10 plaits to make this higher end whip. 8-10-12 plait designs comprise my Signature series Whips. The more plaits the higher the quality, performance and strength. Much more time and skill are required in braiding of the whips with more plaits. Good For The Price
First of all, for the price this whip is a bargain at less than $50.The leather was somewhat dry, and had to be immediately conditioned. The braiding on the whip was subpar: it spirals down the whip, which causes the end of the thong to move perpendicular to the direction in which it was thrown, and causes the fall to whip in a half-circle before it cracks.If you're looking to use it in the contexts of tricks where extreme accuracy is required, this is not the whip for you due to the inferior braiding in comparison to other whip maker's work (that comes at 4-12 times the price).Nonetheless, for the price (or even double) it is an good whip.

Great whip for the price!
Cannot beat the quality for the price. My husband, son and grandson have all enjoyed working with this whip and improving muscle tone, movement and the ability to get a great "snap" from the whip. Recommended!

Quick cracker
Nice for quick cracking and volleys. Was hoping it was going to be a bit longer but its a lot of fun to use does go through poppers fast but this is a easy part to make. Good beginners whip good company.
