Not Silent, no foam core, can cause grounding issues... is it really a Floyd Rose product?
Bought these to cut out spring noise on my Washburn N4 without having to jam some foam behind the springs. These, it turns out, are just as noisy as the stock ones. I understood that they should have come with a foam core, but they are just springs painted black. Are they really official Floyd Rose as advertised?I don't think so.They also defeat grounding from the grounded spring claw to the strings unless some paint is scraped away from the springs at each end.Best to buy this kind of thing from a known musical instrument/guitar parts retailer.

OK, but no real advantage over standard springs
I had to apply some lubricant to the springs as they squeaked like crazy when installed. Slightly less tension than the original springs. Possibly lower spring noise, but they aren't silent.

Noiseless? Adds EMI noise!
These 'noiseless' springs will eliminate mechanical vibration noise from your trem guitar - but at the cost of introducing a lot of EMI noise. The numpty who designed them doesn’t understand about electrical grounding. The strings on your guitar need to be grounded so that electromagnetic interference noise (EMI) is sent to ground. This is achieved on a trem guitar by means of a wire connected to ground inside the control cavity being soldered to the spring claw. The standard trem springs conduct electricity and this makes the connection to the sustain block, and thereby to the strings. Except that these 'noiseless' trem springs do not conduct. At all. Hence breaking the grounding link to your strings. If you install these your noise problems are going to get much worse. You'd think a guitar related company would understand such issues but apparently not. I bought them assuming they wouldn't be marketed by Floyd Rose if they were non-conductive. How wrong I was.If they at least warned the buyer that they don't conduct at least you'd know in advance that you'll have to do some rewiring of the grounding.

Well made and seemingly noiseless
I bought these to uprate the spring tension on my Floyd, but they were only slightly stronger than the stock items - red would have been a better choice but otherwise great springs.
