It looks nice but regardless of the dimensions listed the 300ml size DOES NOT fit a butter block in and so it's basically useless. Do not be deceived I checked the size of butter blocks online and thought this would fit them easily and other reviewers might be mistaken....they weren't.It looks pretty but that's not much consolation as no one will ever see it because it won't fit the butter in.

This butter dish doesn't hold a UK 250g pack of butter. The dimensions given are the external dimensions which I didn't think about... I could just about squeeze in the pack of butter but then could not close the lid.It is a lovely product otherwise but will have to be returned unfortunately.

Love this, very modern and a great size...I was worried as some of the comments said t was too small to fit a full block of butter in, I think it’s absolutely fine, perfect size, not too large but just fits a block. Would recommend

The measurements are for the cardboard delivery box.It will only hold a pat of butter 95mm long 55mm wide and 30mm deep.Not much use for any shop bought pat of butter I have seen.But if it fitted butter it might have been good.

Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing!! Am returning item as it is not fit for purpose. Standard butter pack will just fit in the dish but then the lid doesn't fit on! Who knew you'd have to measure a butter pack before buying a butter dish!

Looks great and the lid has a good deal. However, it doesn't fit properly a UK regular size butter stick.
