Fantastic brewing vessel
Loved the whole thing. Holds heat well, spout pours nicely, tea looks good in it. Good heft and weight to it also. Very premium. Use it daily. Comfortably brews about 100-150 mL though you can go 160-180 mL if you try hard enough.

Gorgeous, Functional, and Easy to use
Great beginner gaiwan. The texture on the outside and the spout make it easy to hold and pour from. Nice thick glass. Very attractive visually. Arrived securely packaged.

really heavy
i expected a refined piece of glass. I got a big chunk of poured glass with lid that doesn't even match the design. Its going back.

Ok, but not as described 150ml not 220ml
The Amazon listing describes the item as 220 mL (as of 12/01/2019). However that is not what I found. It functions properly as 150 mL. Anything above that water everywhere leaves floating everywhere. 150 mL Gaiwan is sufficient for most needs. However sometimes I have a larger group and need more in the pot. If I didn’t already have many at this size already around I would think about keeping this one. Amazon and the seller were nice enough to give me a refund. The photos do not match the actual item as well. The photo on top shows what was advertised. And the photo below shows what I received. According to other reviewer’s I don’t seem to be the only one that thinks the item looks different than posted. Other than the issues listed above it functions fine as the Gaiwan and looks ok. I would have preferred the polished etched look. Personally

So pretty!! Just gorgeous =D
I haven't checked to see if the ml size is truly 220ml yet, but I will update my review when I check that. I just received my gaiwan today. Although I have been brewing loose leaf tea for 20 years, I am very new to using a gaiwan and a kyusu teapot, so I haven't brewed with it yet. Right now, since their seems to be some debate on whether you get what is pictured, I thought I would submit some more clear pictures. As of my opinion of how this looks, I think it's absolutely stunning!! Very beautiful piece, and I'm very happy how it looks with the tea set I am building. I will update later on functionality and overall quality. For now, enjoy the pictures!!

Using it right now
It's absolutely gorgeous. The biggest issue with (that because it's glass and it's tea) it is getting stained. It's pretty solid I don't see it cracking underheat. The lid fits on it and lets you actually filter tea the lid. I also enjoy using it just as a teacup. Overall I really enjoy it

Not like the one in the picture
Either sent a wrong one or it just doesn't look like what's in the picture, but works well
