Set up was pretty standard . The OS is built just for surveillance. First time turning on it runs you through set up. Location , date time etc. Comes with a mouse to navigate interface . Image is 720p through lens but 1080p on TV or monitor. If your familiar with the first version of ring or nest the night and day vision clarity is similar . It comes with a app you can use if your away from your house . On the app and DVR. You can choose segments you wish to save for whatever reason and zooming . It's TRUE wireless other then placing them near a outlet or running a longer ac adapter or extension cord. This is by far the best value considering price comparison to other systems . This is not compatible with smart devices for those wondering hence the price listing but don't quote me I'd have to double check. I do believe the nvr can support up to 8 cameras with of course additional units purchased . The holes in the Camara stand are small but it comes with 4 screws and 4 anchors per camera. I also used liquid nails for a more permanent and that just incase secure measure but that's my own take . The interface is equivalent to a standard system used in a retail or gas station store if anyone has experience working in that line of work. Serves purpose.

bought the 4 channel / 4 camera bundle five months ago. installation was semi easy, at first everything seemed good. cameras were clear, night vision good. DVR software easy enough to use, but that were the good times ended. First I couldn't the DVR to connect to my lan/internet, both wired and wireless just wasn't happening. I have a degree in computer sci so... that also meant no mobile monitoring.... ugh. fast forward five months... the dvr is stuck in an endless start up loop. I contacted Eversecu, and their response was "Upgrade the power supply to bigger like 5 amp, and don't extend the distance to the DVR." Um hello wtf do mean use a higher then rated power supply??? Let me get this straight... burn out the DVR, so you can claim consumer error when the unit is ultimately sent in for repair! its a simple firmware issue. why not just send that instead of tell to Mcgyver the unit, or better send a new board with correct software installed. Don't throw away good cash on this brand!!! I have now had explosives set off at my door, threatened at gunpoint, and today my windshield of my car was smashed in... all occurring in camera view, but no recording to give to law enforcement! Easy install. I did have one camera go bad after a couple months. Contacted customer service and they shipped me 2 replacement cameras free of charge when I only asked for 1. The app is easy to use but you do need a fairly fast connection.

For the price it is a good value. Everything like night vision works great. This is the second camera set i bought from them. So far i had bought the 1st one about 2 years ago. They are working like the day i bought them. The only thing i don’t like the s the signal from the camera outside. I can’t complain. It is a little far away from the base and I have cement walls that block the signal. Over all for the price and value it is worth it. I use it for the convenience of security.

Easy to set up and use. And surprisingly clear video, and the range is exaggerated, I have one camera 50 ft away from the wireless receiver and that camera goes in and out sometimes not recording. The DVR receiver must be on and connected to a monitor or tv that is always on or the system goes into a sleep mode which I cannot figure out how to turn off because it does not turn back on automatically when motion is sensed or continue to record.....Update... 1 year laterThe system has completely froze up and I am unable to get any product support.

This is a very good bang for your buck camera system. Have had no trouble with it. All cameras connected right out of the box wireless. Has good quality video and night vision. The fact that it has facial recognition is pretty cool too. Meaning if it sees a face it actually says face on the screen. Alerts you to movement. Very simple to set up. All in all a good system I have bought 2 so far 1 for my business and 1 for my house.

They work great. I'm very impressed. They work just as good as the $800 setup Costco sales. They are easy to install They automatically work just from plugging them in. The power cords are very short so that is a little hard to work with. But everything else I have no complaints. It's a great buy.
