The downfall is the LED aspect. The wiring is visible and comes out of the front tab where it's placed. Both of my children have issues with these popping out and it can potentially be hazardous. Such as accidentally getting caught on something whilst playing or moving around. Imagine getting the wire caught in a door of some sort? My 7 year old got it caught on the fabric of her seat so that was a pain in itself.This would have had a higher rating if the wiring would have been secured properly. Unfortunately with that alone I'll have to give it a lower rating because it risks the well being of my children. Maybe we just got a faulty batch.Pros: shoe itself is comfortable according to the kids. It's stylish and the rechargeable LED idea is innovative and convenient.

These are brilliant. One shoe of the pair is faulty, so I'm sending it back but have already ordered another pair. The fault is one of the wires to the switch has been cut too short - so the wire doesn't tuck into the tongue, it goes inside the shoe which then irritates the foot. It also gets pressed when walking and switches on and off. Despite the inconvenience of the swap - it's still a 5star product and review!The non faulty shoe is fab! Works exactly as described. Easy to charge. Comfortable. Non slip. Super bright and fun. I think this is an ideal gift for children

My granddaughter loves these and they are so comfortable too. I’m impressed with how grippy the soles are, which is perfect for an active child. I’d buy another pair when she grows out of the ones she is wearing now, so I guess that says it all.

I bought these for my son as he’s wanted light up trainers for a while now. He loves them. You can charge these trainers via a usb wire for both trainers. Switch the trainers on by a small button under the tongue of the trainers and changes to different colours. Good pair of light up trainers.

One trainer didn't work. Seller was on holiday at the time so had to wait a week. But when they got back they gave me a full refund. However the trainers themselves were pretty good and the lights on the one that worked was pretty good

Great pair of trainers as my son loves them but the sizing is not quite right. I would suggest you buy a size above but they are great shoes and the quality is really goood. The lights are very bright

My son loves these, I thought they were the kind that light when you step on them but you have to turn them on and charge them with a USB. Lots of settings thoug for colours. I usually wash trainers in the machine, but cant with these.
