Royal Brush 9-Inch by 13-Inch Graphite Paper, 20-Sheet, Grey

Ok, first off this does not fully erase. I have included a picture as an example. However I am still rating it five stars because it gives me nice clean lines. I use this for tracing drawings and images on to canvases and art paper. If you are tracing on to canvas you will most likely be painting over the lines anyway, so it doesn't really matter that it can't be fully erased.However when I do a piece in charcoal I only trace the darker ares because those will likely be covered anyway, and I free hand the lighter areas. It still gives me something to work with so my proportions are right in my finished drawings.This comes in rectangular sheets in a resealable plastic bag. Making it easy to store. Each sheet can be reused multiple times. If you are tracing something larger that 9" x 13" simply tape the pattern/picture at the top so it doesn't move (leave the bottom loose so it can be lifted), and slide the transfer paper over to the next section and finish tracing.You can use a plain stylus for tracing or even a pencil, however I got the Fiskers Embossing Stylus (sold on Amazon) so I don't damage the pattern/drawing I am tracing. However that is not necessary to have, just nice. I've included to photos. One shows the stylus used, and how much graphite can be removed with an eraser. I purchased this to transfer an image outline onto cotton fabric (t-shirt), but I had no luck with that. Although I am disappointed, the product was not falsely advertised--there were no claims it would, only a few reviewer remarks stating "it might".With that said, this product is great for transferring onto paper (sketch paper, cardboard & plain printer paper). Even with the lightest touch, a clear and smooth line is transferred onto the paper's surface. Be careful not to press too hard, as the lines become very dark and heavy. It also is somewhat difficult to erase with a standard eraser (which wasn't an issue for me as I was using black ink to outline my finished product). I would recommend you test your eraser's strength on a small scrap before commencing the main event!In conclusion, although this transfer paper did not work for what I bought it for, it is a great addition to my supplies-- good quality for a decent price. I would certainly recommend for those of you seeking out economical paper-to-paper transfer sheets.

These transfer sheets were cheaper here on Amazon than they were at Jo-Anns, which is a major plus. Overall, they did their job. I used them to transfer intricate designs onto watercolor paper to paint, and the graphite transferred as intended (I used a mechanical pencil). There were a few spots outside of my designs that would not erase with regular pencil eraser, which other reviewers have noted. You'll need to use a kneaded eraser to get rid of stray marks. Also, be gentle with any taping that you do, as the paper tears quite easily. Overall, a good, useful product.

Got these for crafts so I'm able to put the paper under or whatever I'm drawing so it would leave the trace line I just used it again the other day to transfer onto wood under the paper that I had a drawing I wanted and it works perfect and it stays on and is not rubbing off when my hand is rubbing across the top. I used to do some string art with the nails and wood burning without having to use paper as the guide it worked perfect for exactly what I needed.

I've been using these sheets to transfer cutting and carving patterns onto wood and they work very well. The paper is easy to handle and doesn't tear during tracing and the lines are sharp and clear. The paper lifts cleanly from the wood and leaves no smudges or residue. It sure beats carbon paper.Very good: the sheets can be used multiple times.Not so good: the transferred lines don't erase well but this is of little consequence for woodwork that will be sanded or painted after cutting.

I use these for transferring my designs onto wood for woodburning and let me tell you this package alone will pretty much last you a lifetime, each page you can reuse like a million times and you can cut pieces smaller to fit different projects or use a couple. They're very durable, leave a great solid mark. The lines are erasable but you have to press very lightly and then it's still a little difficult to erase, but It won't smear so for sure worth it.

I got this for transferring outlines from sketch paper to "good" paper for watercolor illustrations. It is easy to use and does not smear, and creates a beautiful clear image. My only objection is that I was unable to completely erase the lines afterward, even with a good artists' eraser. I would highly recommend it for projects where you will be painting over the traced image with opaque paint, sanding the surface of wood after cutting or carving the image, or otherwise covering or removing the surface you are working with, but if you are working with translucent materials or planning on leaving some of the paper blank, don't count on erasing this.

I couldn't figure out how to put a design on the outside of a wine bottle in order to etch it, since I didn't want to cut the bottle in order to fit the design on a piece of paper and put inside the bottle. I ordered this carbon paper and it worked great! I put a sheet under my design and cut it to size, then retraced over my design and it transferred to the glass wine bottle perfectly!!!! Will be ordering more!

This product doesn't act like like graphite paper and cannot be erased or easily painted over once applied, it acts more like I would expect ink based carbon copy paper to.

I found this graphite paper to be quite effective for transferring printed images onto wood. As a pyrographer I was stuck before with having to press hard through ordinary paper to create an impression on the soft wood. But now with these pages I am able to simply draw along the lines with a pen and the image is transferred with little to no difficulty. My only problem is that it is surprisingly hard to erase once the graphite is on the wood surface. Only by gently sanding was I able to remove a few problem spots. Overall though a great product which I heartily recommend.

I use this to trace my drawings on to my watercolour paper. It gives me good crisp lines that are not too dark. It can smear a bit and is sometimes hard to erase if you make a boo boo.
