I just got this on Prime Day and it was kind of an impulse buy. I needed a new hair dryer and thought I might as well replace my straightener that I've had for like 3 years. I used it for the first time this morning and am so mad with myself that I didn't replace my straightener sooner!- fast to heat up- I have long hair that's fine - this worked well and didn't flatten my hair if that makes sense. Just straightened. I was almost hesitant to straighten with my old one because my hair loses so much volume when I do. Not the case here!- Does great for adding subtle movement, I never really have time for a blowout or the skill to do it well, so I used to add in waves/ loose curls but my straightener was pretty wide before. The shape of this one, while slimmer, does amazing at subtly shaping layers and face framing pieces.- speaking of face framing pieces, the old wide straightener ended up making them lay weird. This one does not.- the round exterior shape really helps it glide through my hair, no chatter marks or resistance and the plates are smooth too. I'm sure it'd do well with tighter curls- my hair doesn't feel fried or dry afterward - just smoother.- affordable to boot.

I've used a variety of irons for the last thirty-plus years, and this is THE BEST iron I have every used. It's got great heat and a easy-to-use dial to select the amount of heat you need. I need over 400 degrees for my hair and, on my previous irons, it would take four or five minutes to heat up. Not this one. It goes from zero to 435 degrees in under a minute. Amazing. And it's so smooth, it just glides over my hair. There's never a snag. I get a sleek press that leaves my hair stick-straight. I'm so pleased with it, I'm ordering another one to have as my back-up. I might order two, just to make sure I'm never without one of these irons.

My hair stylist actually recommended this flat iron for its quality to its price. Heats up extremely fast, straightening is so much easier than with some other high quality brands. Leaves hair soft, shiny and smooth.

With my thick, coarse, frizz-prone, processed & colored, wavy hair, just below the shoulder blades length hair, I have gone through & have tried numerous flat irons in my attempt to get the smoothest straight styles & curled styles & always assumed that I would not be able to achieve even better results than I was getting. I had previously purchased this flat iron for my daughter a couple Christmas’s ago to straighten her lower back length, coarse, extra thick, wavy hair & had always loved how smooth & shiny her hair would turn out after using this flat iron but never thought to try it on myself as I always assumed the results were pretty much due to her hair being healthier combined with the heat protectant spray we used. I was BLOWN AWAY!!! Where had this been all my life?? I’ve only used it once to do my whole head & I am just absolutely impressed! This flat iron; at half the cost of the HSI is a game changer for me. Here’s why: 1. It’s a 1-1/4” width so it takes less time to do my hair; seriously, I noticed a remarkable difference between this & my 1” one. 2. Only 1 swipe & I get the smoothest, sleekest styles that last so long that my hair looks professionally straightened for going on the 3rd day now & I have worked out & sweat as well & I didn’t use any different hair products either. It’s SO nice just brushing it through, doing a very minor touch up on my short bangs which always get messed up & going on with my day, looking as if I had fully straightened my hair again which is prone to getting waves in it after sleeping & sweating. 3. The cost is amazing when you compare results to other higher end brands. 4. It feels really good to hold & glides effortlessly. 5. The extra long cord with the swivel feature is cool & I like the features on it.So bottom line, if you’re on the fence on whether or not to get this flat iron, DO IT! Honestly, I will never buy another brand of flat iron again.
