Blagdon Replacement Liner for the Affinity Mocha Octagon Living Water Feature Pool

Good quality and fits inside our blagdon perfectly, smells alittle when arrived so left in garden for a couple of days, before use.

Getting the old liner out wasn’t too bad although some of the screws broke and additional are now supplied with the new liner. Other than that just a bit of strength required to unhook the old one and retook the new one. Found that a couple wouldn’t hook on so screwed the rest of it and then they hooked on ok.Took me and my husband a good three hours to replace , including getting the fish out and emptying the pond.Now it’s done though it is as good as new !Saved having to buy a whole new unit.

We bought the Affinity Mocha Half Moon pond 5 years ago. Recently noticed the port holes had become cloudy then suddenly one split leaking water everywhere. Luckily once the water level had gone below the split, it left enough water in pond until we got a new liner. At first we were unsure which one to get and I soon realised that I had ordered the ‘View’ liner instead of the Mocha. I was able to cancel the View and reorder the correct one. I was a little worried having read previous reviews as to if it would fit ok with the holes lining up with the existing hooks but pleasantly surprised that they did. There’s a sticker on one of the port holes which on a previous review had said that it was difficult to peel off and it pulls away a film. It looks like the film is meant to be peeled off anyway and is only on there for protection. It would have been nice to have instructions stating this. It’s great having the port holes as you can view the fish, they always gather at the window when they see someone but the draw back is they seem to perish over time especially in the sunlight. We were quite happy with the 5 years we had before we needed to replace the liner so will just look out for the tell tell signs (cloudiness) and hopefully it will give us another 5 years.

I was concerned as the price is well below garden centres selling these liners. However I was pleased when it arrived well packed in original blagdon packaging. There’s protective covering on each of the three windows which needs removing prior to installation. This is for the MOCHA HalfMoon pond. So don’t purchase for older rattan model, search for the proper liner for your model of affinity pond. (You slide the panels into a frame with a Mocha, whereas you bolt the weave panels together on the Rattan version. You’ll know the difference if you’ve assembled it yourself!). Good product, great price.

Replaced my liner as my window cracked on the old one, it wasn’t easy taking the old liner out as the screws got stuck but managed to remove it and put the new one in, a hole or two didn’t line up but it was still very easy putting the screws in. It was quite difficult clipping the new liner over the hooks but now it’s all set up looks amazing. The fish are super happy!

Happy with the liner, not as sturdy as the original but ..... For some reason a label has been stuck to one of the windows on how to clean it but the label will NOT COME OFF .... Why are you using a glue that wont come off without scraping the window which you tell us NOT to do?
