Vornado VFAN Jr. Vintage Air Circulator Fan, Green

At first, I was afraid this wasn't going to be adequate, but I was wrong!! The fan head itself is smaller than I expected. On low speed, it's very quiet and there is almost no perceptible breeze unless you're right in front of it, but it makes the room feel a lot cooler. I use it in the open living-dining-kitchen in my condo, which is ~850 sq ft, and it's plenty adequate, just on low. Yesterday was 94 out and I didn't have to turn on my split unit because of this. I live in a dry climate so I can get away with that easier, but I open all the windows at night and in the morning when it's cool and blow cool air in with fans, and then close up before it starts to get hot. My normal summer protocol is I turn the split unit on if it's gonna be 92 or higher but I was perfectly comfortable yesterday and didn't need it at all. Using the split unit adds a lot to my electricity bill and I just prefer not to use it if possible and this will help. It is louder on medium and high speeds, as would be expected, but I doubt I'll ever have to use it on high in the first place, and it's not very loud on M. I never would have thought a fan could look beautiful, but this kinda does, and it's perfect w/my decor.

I bought this for my 2.5 car garage where a feral cat decided to have kittens! It was blazing hot outside at 106 degrees and over 90 inside the garage. Not good for new mama and so I rushed to find a fan from a brand I trusted which could get here quickly. Amazon had this on my doorstep hours after ordering and this little fan dropped the temperature substantially while removing stagnant/thick air in that space. My husband said it was 20 degrees cooler in there. i don't know about that but it was actually comfortable in the garage with the fan on for certain!Once things are back to normal in my garage I plan on moving this to the bedroom so at night instead of dropping down the whole house AC, we can use this fan to stay comfortably cool at night. Fantastic fan.. exceeded expectations.

It is fairly quiet on the low setting and still moves lots of air. I was looking for a well built fan that just had a switch, alot of the nicer fans seem to be overly complicated, I'm not sure why people want their fan to connect to the internet... This one seems well built like those fans from the 1940's that are still running. So if I remember I'll follow up in 80 years with an additional review.

This fan is powerful enough for its size. This is a quiet fan! It appears to be good quality. The bonus is that it is so well balanced that it doesn’t try to shake itself out of place. Stays put!

Works well, I have one from 1945 and it blows stronger but it’s a good little fan.

Great little, well built fan that we use 8n the sleeper area of our Airstream. On low it is nearly silent, on high it moves a good amount of air while providing background noise we like to have.

Well made little fan! It's surprisingly powerful! My HVAC system went out and will be days before getting fixed. This fan really makes a difference with cooling my condo. I love the aesthetic of the fan as well and will be ordering another.

For the son who is not materialistic! Something for his office and he really liked, especially the retro look and color.
