Perfect with a USB power bank
Primary reason I got this was to use a USB power bank to charge my ID-51A. This way I don't have to carry around the somewhat bulky AC charging plug. I like to have USB cables for most everything, so it was a nice addition to the stack of cables. Although the output current isn't specified for this, it seems to charge the radio at close to the same rate as the OEM charger does. Would recommend!

Works Great!
I've been looking for a long time for a way to charge my ID-51 from a USB battery pack while on backpacking trips, so I was very excited to find this. Not much to say about it, nothing fancy but it does the job it's supposed to do and is reasonably priced.

Works, but with RFI
This product does what it's supposed to, but it causes severe RF interference on the 2m band (4-5 levels on the S meter). Given what it's meant to charge, this strikes me as a very odd flaw.

Not a charger! It is only a power supply.
This will not charge the A23. I let it sit for several days and as soon as I unplug it - low battery. It's a brand new battery.

Options
I have not yet used it, but needed the option to recharge my radio

Great cable
Great cable. Always love charging options. FYI the cable for the Kenwood THD74A and the Icom 31A/51A are the same.

Must have product, highly recommended. Thanks!
Perfect addition to your Yaesu power source, keeps radio charged during those power outages.

It charges but it's so noise it blocks rx
It charges my ID-51A over USB, that was the #1 thing I've wanted for a while. That being said it's very noisy and you can't receive even broadcast radio while the charger is plugged in.
