I love these!
I bought this for my niece. I used to have this as a kid, along with a lava lamp. Science is great for people growing up. The colors and feel of the electricity is a lot of fun. The product is really easy to use as it is plug and play. The product is not heavy. It may have only gotten a couple uses, but it was a blast for the price.

Great birthday present
It was a birthday present for my 10 year old and she loves it.

Love it!
I so wanted one of these when I was a kid. But we were kinda poor and by the time I had money I was an adult who had forgotten these existed. Then I saw one in my nephew's bedroom and decided to get myself one. I love it. It's just as cool as you'd think. The only thing I don't care for is the brand name on the base.

Didn't work as intended...but seller made it right.
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I originally review this as 2/5 stars, as I was not happy with how the product turned out. After posting this review, the seller reached out to me to apologize and offer a refund. I'm happy with this resolution and I believe it shows good customer service, so I'm going to raise my score to 4 stars (I don't think 5 is fair since the product didn't work as intended). I will also leave my original review/video below for transparency:I bought this ~2 month ago. Was rather disappointed with how dim it is and how weak/dull/big the electric strands look. I think it's also gotten worse over time, but it wasn't great to start. Maybe if the thing was cheaper I could understand, but at $40, I expected more. I'm starting to look for a new one now that isn't so dull. I just looked back at some of the other customer videos of this item and some of theirs look better which leads me to believe that maybe I just got a bad one.

Just like the classic.
This plasma orb is a must have for any retro themed room. The main feature that sets this one apart from the originals is the plasma's responsiveness to proximity of sound.

Lightning in a Globe
Really spectacular, much nicer than I expected. Was a birthday gift for my grandson and he loves it. It is like having a lightning storm in the globe!
