Works Great 😃 happy with the purchase !
Works great ! Have had no issues with it.

It works
I used this as a cylinder head temp gauge for a two stroke scooter. I had to power it externally with a nine volt, if I used the scooter’s 12V, it’d freak out every time the thermocouple touched the frame ground. Once I isolated the power tho it was fast and accurate, one of the few temp displays that ranges up to 400+ Fahrenheit. Decent quality for the money. Bright!

Great, Simple, Temperature Meter
This temperature meter works exactly like expected - plug it in and it turns on. The display is easy to read, especially in indoor or shaded areas, but may not be bright enough for reading in direct sunlight. The long probe cable allows the meter to be mounted away from the temperature source, which is definitely handy. It does operate over the full voltage range specified, which keeps it flexible for various applications. The one thing I did note was that there seemed to be some amount of self-heating at the upper end of the voltage range that caused an offset of several degrees. Because of that, i would recommend using a voltage in the lower part of the range if possible. Overall, solid device, especially if precision temperature measurements aren't required.

Works good
I mounted it in a box (jigsawed a hole in plastic box to mount it) for a readout of my water heater temperature for a solar PV conversion on the heater. Comes with a K type probe with some small threaded sensor end, I bought another probe (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QN452PN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) with a 1/2" male pipe thread, then screwed that into a 1/2" female adapter in a T in the outlet line of the heater. Had no place to get the probe directly IN the tank, so this is the next best place. Run the water 20-30 seconds so hot water out of the tank passes the probe, and you get a true reading of the tank temperature.Gauge requires 5-28vDC to operate it, I used a 12vDC transformer (wall wart) already in the box to operate a relay for the solar current.I set the heater up (28gal undercounter model) for the lower element to run off solar (36v 1200 DC element https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018S4AN42/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and put a 120vAC 1500w element in the top hole so if solar isn't giving me enough power to heat the amount of water I want, I can simply flip the toggle switch to turn on the AC element and heat water.

Powers up, Shows a Temp...
Not Accurate at all. Wildly fluctuating temp readings. Initial power up shows temp +/- 3 degrees f... then temp will incrementally climb, then hang at 40+degrees above ambient temp, then drop incrementally.I've tried 3 different K t-couples, and 2 different J t-couples .. and finally twisted pair - 22awg wires tired together -- no change in temp reading, all different lengths, nothing reads accurate.Temp on meter does not match Laser Temp or Fluke Temp Probe. very disappointing, all I needed was to read ambient outside air. **Sigh**

Great value and easy to use!
This thermometer is a great value. It is easy to read, and is pretty accurate, coming in pretty close to my SHT3X running off my Arduino Nano. There are no instruction that come with it, but it doesn't need any either. It is really simple to operate and the sepc are right there on the side on the unit. Seems pretty tough, the plastic is strong and clips into place firmly. I think it will work perfect for my amp rack.

Great Value, Excellent Product
I purchased this temperature meter to measure the temperature of a modified toaster oven to bake and cure paint. It's easy to read and I was surprised that the included thermocouple is pretty accurate compared to the considerably more expensive unit I was using. The probe included with this product is much shorter than the probe I was using before, which is great as it doesn't interfere with items in the oven. I definitely recommend this product for any hobby type application (as this is the purpose I am using it for).

How many do you want?
My friend said "That's cool, I want one". He isn't as picky about things as I am, but this time he was right to want one.Functionally this temperature display unit has some great points, mainly that it is accurate, which means the company took the time to match the sensor to the display unit, that quality doesn't happen through luck, it happens through caring for their customer. The sensor probe uses a moderate length stainless steel protective outer cover which is shrink wrapped to wires at the display side and terminates into the probe at the sensor side. The sensor/probe has a threaded sleeve that permits a solid contact to the material being measured, being this way a person would be able to glue a bolt to the contact area and thread the sensor into that until the probe made contact. The display itself has low power needs and is easy to read at a glance in most lighting, although direct sunlight made it a little hard to read. Mounting is made easy by having a case that is standard size and can snap into most instrument panels.
