Easy to install, no additional water diverter needed.
Installed it in just a few minutes, easy to install, It has a flat back so there is no need to buy any additional diverters for the barrel. Just cut down the gutter and place it underneath. Looks good, bought an additional hose to connect the second barrel. The hose connection is a little weak so I wouldn't recommend to connect a hose to it since the spigot is plastic. I had to be careful to not cross-thread the spigot when installing but other than that, it is awesome. As an after thought, try to install under the gutter that collects the most rain if your house is multilevel with multiple roofs. Utilize the roof that has the most surface area to collect the most rain. Water capacity is fine, I use it for my plants and chickens.

Very well put together rain barrel.
Got this for my father and he absolutely loves it. It is flat on the back so you can put it against a wall or a deck flush (he's a construction guy, so he loves being able to do that). Filled right up on our first desert monsoon rain and he has been using it to water his grapes and garden area. Very well made, and it's a plus to have all the fittings pre-drilled and working. You don't need a pump for this, you can attach a hose right on the bottom of the barrel, or open it up and let the water out from the bottom. My father put it up on cinder blocks so he could get a bucket or a watering can underneath the spigot with ease. Plus, it looks like a whiskey barrel, very pretty in the yard. These cost twice as much in the garden store, and the ones in the garden store are not 55 gallons like this one, the capacity is much smaller.

Easy setup, priced appropriately
Certainly worth the $80 I spent on it, this plastic rain barrel was simple to set up. We are using it to collect the backwash water from our neutralization (calcium carbonate) filter. I drilled the hole in the upper side of the barrel which is usually used to connect multiple barrels, however in this case the output from the filter is directed here. This seems to work fine. My only criticism is that the spigot is made entirely from plastic, and over time it's more likely to become brittle or otherwise degrade, especially when exposed to sunlight.Small leaks, if they occur, will not be a problem for us since we're simply going to hook a garden hose up to the barrel anyway, and the barrel is located in the place where water seepage is not critical. However, hopefully there will be no cracks or splits, as some other reviewers have reported.

So worth it!
Great customer service! I bought three of these, had a rainstorm next night, all filled! Just one had a leak in a seam around the front. Started a return with Amazon, they gave me seller contact info, they were very helpful! Asked for a photo of the leak area and bottom of barrel for quality control purposes. I texted those, and they replied that yes, they would send out a new one. They look great, work great. I have them up on 2 layers of blocks from Home Depot. Our city water rates have almost tripled this year, so with a vegetable garden, these should pay for themselves pretty quickly!

Must have
This is my second rain barrel. The first came with the house and as such, I didn't pick it out. But I learned a few things I would want in another rain barrel. The best part of this rain barrel is the enclosed lid with a grate over it so debris and bugs aren't getting in. Must have for a rain barrel! It was easy to put together. I had to cut part of my gutter pipe (I used a circular saw) and I got a plastic gutter hose to connect to the pipe and funnel down onto the rain barrel grate. This has worked so well. The back bows out some when filled with water so I wouldn't recommend putting it against something. Seems sturdy and holds a decent amount of water. Really pleased with the purchase.

Just what I needed
Bought this to water my plants and stop my side yard from flooding, rerouted the downspout and used the jumper to flow back into the downspout when the barrel is full.

Nice rain barrel
Perfect for my backyard. I wanted a rain barrel to save water for watering my backyard. I put it under the downspout and the barrel filled with one rain shower. I haven't hooked a hose up to it yet but because I haven't planted my flowers yet but I look forward to using it all summer. It was very easy to put together and a great price.

Good rain barrel for the price
A good rain barrel for the price, cheapest on the market, but I'm giving it a 4 star because the shutoff valve is too restrictive and causes the water to flow out too slow. Save yourself hours if waiting to fill a bucket with water and get yourself a ball valve to go with it. Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was the cheapest option and I liked the flat back to sit up against the wall.
