Great pocket radio! Easy to use and carry.
Likes:1) Size is much smaller than picture, very light and easy to carry.2) Love the sensitivity and sound for both AM/FM.3) Separate volume, off/am/fm switch and tuning switch. Buttons are smooth and without binding.4) Uses 2 double A batteries so is very convenient, hinged door so won't lose the cover.5) Tuning light and battery light.6) Dial is clear and easy to read.All in all what a great radio, now I know why it is the number one selling pocket radio. I got it at a discount so it is a bonus. The only improvement would be its antenna placement, would be better embedded for good grip. Would definitely buy again but not at full price.

ICF-P27
Although the picture is ICF-P26 I recieved ICF-P27. The digital tuner does a good job, picks up every station in the area on both bands. Speaker sounds good. Sony quality. Was shipped quickly and well protected.

This is a beautiful pocket size radio
This is a beautiful pocket size radio. AM/FM comes in strong from distant stations. The quality is great. The sound is clear with plenty of volume. I ordered this one and received the ICF-P26 in its place.

This radio is not pocket size
I purchased this radio together with Sony ICF-P36, and found the latter slightly better. Amazon advertises this radio as a pocket sized radio, 2"X2"X2" , and weight 5 pounds! Actually it's much bigger and doesn't fit in the pocket. The weight is not 5 pounds. The sound is OK, but the reception is poorer than ICF-P36. All in all ICF-P36 is better.

Think I've had this thing a little over a year now. I haven't changed the batteries a single time and i use it 5 days a week. It only picks up a handful (i think literally 3) in my area on FM - but that's not a problem because it gets the one i like. Sound comes in clear. Durable. Dont know about others but i don't need to use the antenna to get good reception. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Great little radio for camping, work, or just really any time you'd want to listen to a radio.

best buy for the price
The radio was perfect for what I needed and wanted. I want to tune in to the tv at the gym. It came very promptly.
