Boogie Nights [Blu-ray] [US Import]

Excellent film about the 1970's porn industry in the USA and it's downfall in the 1980's. Fun and, eventually, tragic.

Anything with Heather Graham in it if fine by me underrated actress

From the moment Jack Horner (Burt Reynolds) looked at Dirk Diggler (Mark Walberg) and said "Doggy Doo-doo, yeah", I knew I would love this movie. It was a moment filled with both humor and emotion, and I knew that the rest of the movie would be just as enjoyable. I wasn't disappointed. The movie was filled with great performances, an interesting story, and plenty of laughs. It was a great movie that I would recommend to anyone.

This is an edgy film considering it was produced in the 1980,s. Some good actors and action and I enjoyed it. Don’t watch it if you’re offended by sexual scenes. Do if you’re into a bit of sexual humour.

I am a great movie lover

Wafer-thin characters, story and plot. I remember seeing this when it came out and being underwhelmed, but I'm in the middle of a PT Anderson season (of my own!) and I thought it would be better than I remember - it was 20 years ago. Despite the acclaim and the daring nature of the world depicted, the characters are flat and uninteresting, as indeed is the story. And it's so loooong!

Amazing film, not what I thought it would be at all, moving this to my all time favourites list, fantastic writing, acting and cinema photography, oh and the sound track, gold.

For me - a classic. Fantastic cast and scrip well acted giving very good portrayal of life in the porn industry in the 70's/ 80s -probably still going on today!, Walberg, Reynolds, Seymour Hoffman, Moore and Reilly have stand out performances. One of those movies I can watch over again and get something else each time from it. JP
