Great product!
We lost are yard to grubs and the clay soil turned into rock. This really helped soften it a bit and noticed grass growing in areas that it normally would not have with just regular aerating and seeding. We spread it before it rained and tried aerating while the ground was dry with little results because the ground was too hard. We aerated and seeded two days later after it rained and the ground texture was definitely softer and remained that way when it started to dry up. I could use a a hand aerator with little effort. I will definitely be buying this product again!

Gypsum, as a soil amendment!
This product, applied before a light to moderate rainfall, will definitely loosen up heavy clay soils. It's uniformity, in size, makes it easiy to apply w/ a common fertilizer spreader.

Please don't use for lawn cut under 2"
It's pelletized, which I've found beneficial overall. However, my reel mower picked up almost half of the product on my three-quarter-inch Bermuda lawn (which I have to cut every 3-4 days in summer). I like the product, but I'll stick to using it in my garden and a finer product that dissolves quickly for my lawn.

It works
Had hard pan on lawn that just would not grow anything. We spread this out and finally it softened the ground enough for the grass roots to get a hold and grow. Worked great!

It works.
I followed the recommended amount. Worked it into the soil and then put the plants in the hole. The plants have done much better than the ones I planted last year in our clay soil.
