First thing, please ignore the reviews that say this is gritty or like sand paper. I am pretty sure that is the beeswax in the product. Whatever it is, it melts at body temperature and is wonderfully smooth once warmed by your body.2nd, I bought this based on a recommendation from womans-health dot com slash best-anal-lube. What really stood out to me on this site compared to pretty much every other site for recommending anal lubes, is that they clearly state why they don't recommend ANY water based lubes for back door action.I am a middle aged straight man who in the last year started to experiment with prostate massage and bought myself a silicone vibrating prostate toy. When I 1st started, I was using Astro Glide since it was my go to and had always worked great for me in the past for masturbation. However, when using Astro Glide for my butt, I kept having to re-apply like every couple of minutes. And when the toy was in a little bit longer than the Astro Glide would last for, the toy was not pleasant to get out. So, the search began for something else. Because my toy is silicone, a silicone lube was incompatible and I looked for something oil based. As mentioned above, I bought lube based off of a recommendation from a website. I was NOT disappointed, this was a complete game changer. Put some lube on the toy, get some in the back door, and I have not needed any re-application even after 20-30 minutes. Again, a complete game changer. It made it sooo much more enjoyable. I normally have about 8 insanely intense orgasms during that 20-30 minutes, at which time I have to stop because I am just so utterly spent. Decided to write this as I am about to buy my 2nd tube. ;)

Saved my gf when she was having dry spot issues. She took it from me and I haven't seen it since. (She's better now) it does however come out kinda grainy so keep in mind it may need to be melted or warmed for ANY kind of use 😉

It’s runnier not together as it should be. It’s melted just like it out of date or to warm before shipping, the one before this one was the same. It’s runnie like baby oil.

I have realized I probably just need massage oil. This one is less sticky than some, but still gets a little sticky. It’s better than the water-based ones, but not as good as actual oil in my opinion. To be clear, I have no uterus and am a monogamous marriage of 26 years, so I am not worried about interactions with birth control.

I had high hopes for trying this product, and due to the cost I figured all the reviews were right - but I was awfully disappointed. I found the product to feel like sand-paper a bit, like there were little hardened clumps mixed within the tube which made application at first a bit unpleasant. Not sure if it was a bad batch or lot that I received, but I expected something that was either initially smooth or quickly turned into a smooth/gliding texture, but it took too much applying of additional product I found to reach that point. I was also hoping for something that needed to be reapplied less than other bases like water/silicon, but didn't find this to be better. In fact, I think a silicon-base has last much longer per application than this, in my opinion. I may try a different size tube of the product or maybe even purchase from a different platform before writing it off completely, but this specific item I ordered here was unpleasant for me and did not produce any better results or experiences that I'd hoped and read about.

Yes, it's expensive but certain experiences are worth a little more $. I have used and loved this stuff for years and my new partner is amazed by it. It provides a nice lubrication but doesn't feel oily or greasy, has no flavor, and doesn't get sticky. The only downside is that it can stain sheets if you get sloppy. If you keep it around too long, it can get gritty as one of the ingredients will solidify into small grains, but that means you're not getting enough action LOL.
