I loved that these were safe to use in the microwave and found that they were great for compartmentalization of their foods. If there is a down side at all it would be that the glasses don’t stack and the plates are more like trays in that they are very large and take up 11 inches in my cabinet.

I like the set so far, I make sure to hand wash them and never put them in the microwave even though it says you can. Hopefully they’ll last awhile

Bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It cracked within 2 months of semi-regular use.

This review is for the Repurpose Kid's Dinner Set. Looks like plastic, feels like plastic, has a bit of flex like plastic. But it’s not plastic, it’s made from plants! The set is based on an 11” wide hexagon shaped plate, which is large size for a kid. You can use the plate as a stand-alone dish, or treat it as a tray. There is a separate 3-compartment tray that fits neatly inside the larger dish, as well as a 4.5” diameter bowl and drinking cup. This gives you the flexibility to configure the usage in different ways based on the type of meal and/or age of the child. It is also possible to split it up to make it work for two kids by giving the older child the bigger dish, and the half-size compartment tray to a younger child.Beyond just making this an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic kid dinnerware, they also took into account the typical desired convenience factors sought after as well by making it both microwave and dishwasher safe.The texture and finish is somewhat interesting. It doesn’t have the usual very slick and shiny finish seen in plastic-wear. The colors are fun, but it has more of a dull matte finish, and actually has a matte “fee” to them as well with a slightly rough texture. It is definitely durable, and should have no issues with accidental drops.It is a well-designed set that is environmentally friendly and highly functional for kids.

We love Repurpose Kid's Dinner Sets - we have one for each of our kids! I love that they come in different colors and that our kids get to have "their own" color. All colors are bright and beautiful, but Iris is probably my favorite :) Don't tell my kids, but I've been borrowing them for some late-night snacking ;)The dishes are perfectly sized for kids, but are not too small, so the kids. It's amazing that they are made sustainably from plants - I would have never guessed! The dishes are unbreakable, wash easily and can go to dishwasher and microwave.We are very pleased with the quality of these dishes and would recommend them without any reservations!

The description says the dinner set is plastic free. It is not. It is a plastic made of plants, it is still a plastic. Nowhere on the package it says it is biodegradable, so I guess it is not, and it will take decades or centuries to degrade, just like any other plastic. The packaging says they used plants like corn, beets and bamboo to make the plastic instead of petroleum. I sure hope it was byproducts of the plants, not the plants grown specifically for making the plastic.As of intended use, it is a really nice children's dinner set. The colors are hushed and speckled, but they are pleasant. The surface texture is not smooth. The size is just right for kids portions. If you have more than one set, they are not stackable, although you can fit two inserts in one tray. That is because everything has vertical edges. The tray is quite large and takes a lot of space. I am not sure if it will fit a high chair tray.

The media could not be loaded. We got these sets to take our children camping. I love that each piece is color matching and fits nicely for space saving. It's made out of recycled materials so, it's better for the environment and prevents the use of disposable dinnerware. Each piece feels durable and, held up well in the dishwasher. These are lightweight and work well for travel. I absolutely love that each set is color coordinated so, the kids dont fight over who gets what color, it's already decided.

It came with a large shallow tray, shape like a hexagon； a half hexagon shape section tray; a bowl and cup. My boy like soup every meal, so It is great for fit everything together in one big tray for kids. The color is soft and pretty. Kids love the color. They like to use it. The set has lightweight. It is easy for little hands to hold and use.Overall, this dinnerware is beautiful, unique, but it is not very practical.1: it is not fit in dishwasher easily. Because the tray size is a little too big.2: I got two set of different color dinnerware, but they can not stack together for storage.3: The edges / surface are not very smooth. It will cut kids fingers or lips.I like the shape and the design. I am still glad to get two sets for my boys. If the company can improve some small problems. This product will be a great buy for kids.
