My grandchildren. 2 yrs old and 3 yrs old LOVE this! I bought 2 mini outdoor pools, one blue and one pink (no squabbling) and put the sand in them (1 for the 3-yr old grandson (blue) and one for his 2-yr old sister (pink.) They can play for a very long time for their ages! I bought road work as well construction toys, they push the sand around, they bury things and dig them out...can play w/this in many different ways! My daughter likes that it is soft not grainy, that it wipes off the kiddos bare skin and clothes, well! I do not let the sand in the pools sit outside, the pools are put under a covering or in a garage! I do not believe the sand would do well getting soaked by rain. The kid's dad got grass clippings in the setting on the ground pools, had to pitch it all and start over...a small pool or large tub, setting on a deck or in a porch, would be a great idea for outdoor play! Indoor, perhaps a large tub! Either way, the sand would easily be swept up, it does not harden like original Play Doh :) ! Great Buy!

Kids absolutely loved this kinetic sand for a retirement/family reunion that was had.. I made a separate area for the smaller kids and toddlers so they can play while the adults socialized if they wanted to.. I personally have never had kinetic sand or played with it but I also purchased a different kind as well at the store.. A much cheaper version, and couldn’t believe the difference in them… This was definitely worth the value!! There was quite a bit in the bag that you get and it was just a regular dark brown sandy color. Picking it up in your hands, it barely fell but it was all almost stuck together, kind of like a really flowy play dough, but yet it made no mess! Easy to clean up and didn’t stain anything… This is amazing especially for kids with adhd, autism, even for anxiety, and depression. The list goes on… Even great for adults of all ages. I swear by this now!! I just got a little blow up pool float that holds snacks in a pool, but used it for this instead. Worked perfectly!

This was a great gift for my 4 year old. He loves this as a sensory toy. The pieces that is comes with to build a sand castle are a great size, and easy to use. It allows him to use his imagination and we use the bin as well as the top to create fun sand creations. It is a reasonable price, and I love that the top can go on and you store it away until the next time you're ready to play. It would be a great gift for any child.

This is a wonderful sensory tool. If you have someone who needs to draw/knit when they listen, this may be a wonderful alternative for them. I use it in my classroom. Students sign up to use it when I read aloud each day. I even had high school students who used to recalibrate during difficult situations.

Definitely a good deal when compared to prices of stores. My kids have played with it twice a day for the last four days in a row since we purchased it.Absolutely love how easy it is to clean up and especially not dry out. My kids are able to keep endless hours of fun with this.Will definitely keep buying this in a rotation

First time mom learning….do not buy this to put near a water table. This sand makes just as much or more of mess when wet!!! Other than that I love it!

My four year old loves playing with Kinetic sand. He'll play for hours and his imagination comes to life. It's the best. Listen, I'm not the kind of mom that enjoys playing pretend but I enjoy playing Kinetic sand. It's almost therapeutic haha. I love how much came in this package. My only thing is I didn't realize is this one is more coarse sand. It's not as smooth as the original kind.

I bought the 5 pound bag and it was a great price. The sand has held up for months without drying out. It can be a little hard to smooth out when doing sand tray therapy with clients but it works. It also cleans up easier then regular sand.
