We used this tool to measure the shape of the curved stair treads on our staircase. Every step was a different size with different angles. We never could have done the job as well as it came out without this tool. My only wish is that the pieces locked down a bit harder. We had to be very careful not to move the pieces once it was set.

works good but hard to get into small spots

Used this to get the shape of some weird angles on a large format tile floor in a kitchen under the cabinets. It was a spot that was pretty hard to use other methods of getting the right angle due to the location of the tile. Nice that the corners were adjustable and then could be locked in place once an angle was determined before adjusting the next rod for the next angle. This would not work for curves or small details (there are other tools for that). It is best used for getting the cuts and angles for a large area that has multiple straight cuts.

It is fairly easy to use and it does the job but it is tricky to keep it steady on large pieces but it is ok.

Normally i use a product before posting a review but this is out of the bag garbage! Total waste of money! Purchased with the internet to cut plywood to fit nicely around my truck beds wheel wells but I'm not sure if I can get segments tight enough to hold the shape. One of the tensioning nuts must already be stripped. Beginning to wonder if Amazon's stars and reviews are legitimate? I don't know who would give this anything other that one star for the ability to say "don't waste your money on this junk"!!!

It works

Price is reasonable and works for me finding a contour of the b nose if a trailer I am building. Bad part is that you really have to wrench on the knobs to tighten it down to hold it in place
