REQUIRED for a battery change in a VW Touareg SUV
The car battery is under the drivers seat in my Touareg. A triple square (12 point) male bit is required for removing two bolts at the front of the seat rails in order to tip the drivers seat backwards to expose the battery.I have done this job before , but recently decided that if I had a battery failure on the road , I would need to have this 10mm triple square tool and a 3/8 drive wrench handy just in case I needed to replace the battery far from home. I keep the tool bit and wrench in a tool bag in the truck area, with jumper cables.I may never need it, but it's good to know I have it at the ready, won't need to hunt for it at home or away from home.
