I don't write reviews. But this stuff works. I have a 160 lbs. Mastiff I've given him joint supplements since he was a puppy because I have tried to be preventative with joint and mobility issues. Despite my efforts he is already had stiffness/soreness/pain in his joints at 4.5 yrs old. I ordered this and within 3 days I noticed a difference in his movement and gate. His limp is gone. The liquid supplement is new to me, I give it to him with a syringe from a child's Tylenol bottle and he takes it really well.

This is a great formula for our senior dog. We've noticed a lot of improvement in his mobility and overall comfort.I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to warn against a couple of things when using this formula. A few people who did review lamented that there is no pump that comes with this bottle. I was one of those people as well -- why would the manufacturer make it so hard to dispense this formula, and make it so that we have to measure it out each time? It gets really messy and the liquid itself is unpleasant (though my dog LOVES it). So I bought a pump on Amazon to attach to this bottle and it worked like a dream, but then I went to clean it one day and found that the plastic parts to this pump were actually melting into the glucosamine formula. The glucosamine formula was literally melting this plastic. The disintegrated, sticky plastic got all over my hands and was very difficult to wash off with soap. I am horrified that it was seeping into the formula that we were feeding my dog — we did notice that he was having stomach issues but we thought it was just because he was getting older. Our vet believed this as well, so she prescribed Omeprazole, which helped. I am devastated that he has been ingesting plastic this whole time and we have thrown the bottle and pump away immediately and we anticipate his stomach issues will lesson with time.PLEASE think twice when getting a pump. I only had this pump attached to the bottle for three months and it scares me to think if I didn't catch it sooner, how much more sick my dog would have become. If you are to use a pump, I would suggest using it once, then taking it out of the bottle and rinsing it for the next use and not leaving in the bottle (though that does eliminate any convenience the pump brings to the equation). There is a reason why this bottle doesn't come with a pump AND why it comes in a heavy-duty industrial plastic bottle: so the formula doesn't disintegrate it.

I have a 12 year old boxer who is in relatively good health but she’s old she moved slowly seemed to be a little uncomfortable but since using this product she is moving better and seems a lot more comfortable. She is happier. I will definitely continue to use it for the rest of her life. Amazing product!! I put 2 teaspoons in her food in the morning and one teaspoon in her food in the evening she doesn’t mind the taste. Very easy to use. Seems expensive but definitely worth it. Any aches she had have definitely been relieved. Thank you!!!!

While I can't compare this to other glucosamine supplements (it's the first I've used) I've noticed a huge improvement in my senior dog's mobility after about the 8th day of use. This product, which was recommended by my dog's vet, basically looks and smells like soy sauce! It's unlike the other supplements I've seen available and I don't know if this liquid form makes it any better or not but my dog does take it. He won't take it by mouth, which I initially tried, so I've resorted to simply mixing up his meal as usual (which is a commercial raw diet) and then simply just pour this on top (I don't mix it in) so that he's basically still taking it by mouth. This is the only way he'll take this stuff! My 11-year old dog suffers from arthritis in one of his front paws. It's caused a permanent limp when he walks and he wasn't interested in his long walks like he used to and during off leash activities, he kept them short and quickly was ready to go home. It's now been about 10 days since he's been on this stuff and the improvement is kind of amazing to me. We went on a 3 mile hike for the first time in months! We went to a local park for some off leash time and we were there for an hour and he was running like a madman! His walks around the neighborhood have been longer too. This won't make his arthritis go away but it's made it manageable and brought back some of his mobility and he seems to be in a little less pain than before. I'm so thankful for this product!

6/1/19- my 165lb huskita will be 12 this year- this stuff is a godsend, he would not be here today and playing w my kiddo or his horse toys if it were not for this stuff. I have my whole family using for their large breed dogs. A little back story- abt 6-7yrs ago I thought I was going to lose him- his back end was going out. Extremely bad breeding - he’s like a whiskey barrel w legs, although a force to be reckoned with. I got him at 4-6mo old when he was dumped and local police found him ( who thought he was an adult shepherd mix) by 6mo he was already abt 75lbs, and still growing- at that point he was all leg.. horrendous vet diagnosed him as “fat” put us on slentrol ( no longer on the market) didn’t work - as the dog barely eats. Seriously higher end grain free - maybe 1-2cups a day, if that. So due to some horrible genetic issues- I’m am very glad we decided to try this product again.*** I am editing my review 12/9/17- my dogs are finally eating this now.. mixed w a spoon of high reward food- this stuff if you can get your dog to take it is a god send.Ingredients are fantastic, however does me no good. My dog who will eat anything took it one day, mixed with treats that he loves , and will not touch it again. Nor will he take it any other way( for instance wet cat food) we have tried. Must have one heck of a horrible taste, for mr. Trash compactor to not want to touch it. WISH we could use it- but not gonna happen. We had to purchase another product with beef flavor.
