Alarming
My alarm system is wired in, but everytime something needs to be added or replaced the techs install the latest wireless whizz bang. They all seem to use these which last about a year. Not so bad for the door alarms but nasty for the fire sensors which require ladder work. These at least reduce that chore to a yearly.

Decent batteries for the money
