I bought these in September 2021 and they were put on a shelf with emergency supplies. The box was never opened. I needed them today and to my surprise they were still charged up and ready to go. These were perfect to hang in the bathroom or anywhere really. I just bought 2 more today. Highly recommend for emergencies!

The bulbs put out a decent amount of light, but not as much light as a regular 40W-equivalent LED bulb. They're fine for lighting small spaces at night or for some emergency lighting. I have two hung up in my storm cellar. They have a foam ring around the power button to keep water out, but I doubt they'd be waterproof as the micro USB charging port has no gasket or cover. There's a little red indicator light to let you know when the bulb's built-in battery is charging. They come with a solar panel that has a super long micro USB cable permanently attached to it, and an adhesive back.

UPDATE:One bulb went out. I am upset. Ruins all the time and energy. I will have to rebuild.I made sure the lights worked first. I charged and tested the remotes and bulbs. Then hang. I retrofitted an IKEA light fixture with the two bulbs because solar lights are not as bright as electric. With IKEA everything screws apart even the pre assembled original electric wires.I removed those. Retrofitted for solar for green off grid and IMO looks pretty … I love repurposing new old stuff others think has no value. I suggest you use better quality if you want something that’s reliable.

I bought the set of 2 lights: one for a duck house, 1 for for a chicken coop. One of the lights works wonderfully. Light charges during the day & is still lit in the morning time. I would give 5 stars, but the 2nd light doesn't work at all. Considering I've already installed one & am actively using it, it's more trouble to return than to just accept the loss. Great product if they both worked.

Love these lights… I purchased them because we get frequent power outages…. Then moved and had them in storage for 2 years and recently brought them home and to my surprise they still had a charge on them after being tucked away in a box for 2 years.

I use these everyday. I use them as indoor night lights. They help me save money. No issues so far for having them over a year now.
