Thick and sturdy material. The nice clear material makes viewing the ID a lot easier.

Not for rugged environments
Not an office worker. Blue collar. Broke the first one in less than a week. Second one is now cracked. Made from a hard brittle plastic. No flex at all.

Needs work.
The card area is rigid but the plastic around the lip for the badge reel loop is weak. This my third one of this model that has broken in this exact spot and will be my last. They need to reinforce this area for users that use their badge reel to tug on it regularly. I suppose if you just use this with a clip on your pants or shirt it would probably last... but I’m the type that is hard on everything. Otherwise this one is perfect for the money and I tried a bunch of these cheap Amazon key card holders. See attached photo,
