Better than having to use a crimper tool!
The bottom cable to touching the stairs but I wanted to make sure they posts with centered with the step. Anyway it's an easy process just tedious dealing with the small tighteners. Some of them strip so don't tighten too hard and keep an extra 2.5mm Allen wrench due to it rounding eventually. It doesn't come with extra tightener screws either.Muzuta makes a great system that is way more affordable than other companies. Their customer service is excellent also ! I was missing the tensioners for the CB05 and they sent the missing parts within 3 days! The prices are a little high for smaller pieces but it's still better than the bigger companies.

A little fidgety but works
I used these on an interior staircase (photo) and they can provide a decent amount of tension, but they're expensive and require a tool to be inserted from the front to hold them in place while you tighten. I found that a 3/8" bit was too small and 1/2" too large, so I used a step bit to do a 7/16" hole and that worked well. I would recommend that your line spacing was no larger than 3.25" with these so that they pass the 4" ball test.

Too complicated
This needed so many parts, even my contractor couldn’t figure it out. Other stuff was on back order and they now won’t give me a refund.
