I love this nail file… it is incredibly gentle on my newborn’s skin and stops immediately when it hits anything, as it should for safety. You do have to hold the power button to get it going and to turn it off. A short click only changes the speed once it’s on. It’s small and compact enough to take anywhere and the light works very well to see those tiny fingernails. Mine seemed to have come without a cable on accident and although my return period had lapsed with Amazon, Olababy customer service shipped one out immediately to me. It does not fit other USB-C cables as another person mentioned. But there’s nothing like buying small and getting a real person on the other end when you send an email! Thank you, Olababy!

This works perfect for those tiny newborn nails. It has the files store in the lid, and has a light on it that makes it even more useful. This is way nicer than the Frida one. It also has this adorable carrying case to store it in. This would make a great gift for a baby shower.

I really like this nail trimmer. It does NOT hurt my baby when it inevitably brushes against his skin. You can feel how gentle it is testing it on your own skin. I like the shape of it and how easy it is to hold. The light is nice and bright and works well. The fact that it is rechargeable is great. This is one of the pricier options for this type of file and I am feeling like it was worth it. I never tried any of the cheaper ones, though.I am still having so much trouble getting my 5 month old's nails filed because he will simply not sit still. LOL But this definitely takes the fear out of the process.

I do like this better than the other ones I’ve used but the shape is a little odd and hard to get the side of my children’s nails. I would probably use a different one going forward.

Works very well for my toddler and infant. Stops working on toe nails once they turn ~2. Both my kids love manicure time with this product. And the company was incredibly helpful and responsive when I had a small issue. Seriously, Uppababy-level customer service.

Must have for newborns! Was using a manual file at first but this has been a lifesaver. Very gentle but effective. The light helps ensure you can see baby's tiny fingernails easily. Like that it's rechargeable, though there are cheaper options without that if you don't care. That said, I personally like the unique shape and think it makes it easy to use.
