Small screws
The screws supplied are too small. The head will go through the guide if tightened. Needs a larger screw. This company reached out to me and offered to reimburse me for the screws. I would rather have heard from them that they are making efforts to correct their product. Overall the guides worked well with a proper sized screw.

It works!!
We customized our barn door and the door is thicker than usual door thickness, this sliding door guide was perfect.. We didn't screw it down to the floor but just applied the Gorilla tape to attach with the floor. So far so good!!!

Cheap plastic with cheap screws
I received these and opened the package. Cheap plastic guides I thought. That wasn't a deal breaker though. I drill the pilot holes in my expensive wood floor. As I was screwing the screw in the thing snapped in half. The screw snapped off below the floor. I couldn't get it out without causing more damage. I readjust the position of the guide and redrilled the holes. Went to Hardware store to buy screws made from steel not cheap aluminum. The guides are not high standard, but they work. The screws are cheap and I wouldn't attempt to use them. You will be sorry. For the price you pay the company could put steel screw in the kit.I wouldn't buy again.

Sturdier than originals
The original guide were broken by grandkids playing. Found these totally by accident, were so happy! They are sturdier then originals and attached with ease.

Soft plastic. Screw too small, will not hold guide. Too expensive.
Hardware screw head too small for position set - passes through slot, will not hold guide. This is a couple of dollars worth of plastic for over $8.No competition for the dark brown color at present.A dark colored washer, or bigger screw head, will be needed to keep the screw head from passing through the guide position lock.

much needed
the sliding hardware I had bought needed more floor guides. These are perfect and keep my doors securely in line.
