UPDATE 12/21/24 -- SANWA cares about its customers!
UPDATE 12/21/24:Wow. SANWA's Customer Support Team is on the ball. Apparently they monitor these reviews, and so responded to mine (which described the faulty function on the mouse I bought). I was asked to provide its serial number, order a replacement, then let SANWA know if the replacement functions as it should (it does), and they immediately processed a refund. If I didn't want a replacement, they would have simply processed a refund on the initial purchase. No strings. They didn't condition their actions on an update to my review.Let's be realistic -- a computer mouse amounts to nothing of importance. But in this hyper-competitive world, when one company (who's essentially nothing more than a branding operation) finds a way to please its customers in the manner that SANWA has, that creates a positive, meaningful impression. It got me to Google "SANWA" and led me to its SANWA Supply website where I learned about the rich variety of other products it offers and its company history. If my experience is typical for how SANWA bends over backwards to please a customer over a $20 mouse, then it's a company that I will absolutely consider buying from in the future because they offer quite a lot of other things that any individual or business can/will use. This one small interaction did more to earn my attention than any amount they could have spent trying to "market" to me.Here's my original review:For me, it suits my mouse-using preferences, but . . . this SANWA-branded mouse is identical to the ones that use to be branded "Humancentric" of which I have two, and have had for several years now, so I'm quite familiar with their operation. The problem I'm finding with the SANWA is that the main circular scrolling mechanism occasionally and inadvertently/involuntarily triggers the full scroll menu when I'm doing nothing other than scrolling up or down a webpage. This is annoyingly frustrating, and, but for my familiarity with this mouse I might think it's normal behavior (for a SANWA at least). It's a defect in manufacture on the one I have. If SANWA is reading this, kindly reach out and provide me with a replacement and I'll send this one back and revise my review accordingly. This will serve as a test of the SANWA customer service.

Great Fit but Wheel Has Issues
I love this mouse so much because of the fit and size. It fits perfectly in my hand and has relieved the pain in my hand. I've purchased two (two computers) and the first one started having issues with the wheel 3 months in. The company was responsive and replaced it without hassle. The second one is having issues now too. The rolling wheel squeaks when you're scrolling. Highly irritating and distracting. They both started to show issues at month 3. I've tried to reach out to the manufacturer again but no response. It's a bummer because this mouse fits so perfectly in my hand.

My wrist is happy and feel no more numbness
Due to computer work, I was having wrist issues that also led to my shoulder and neck. I felt immediate relief after starting to use this mouse and having a happy wrist. Love the price too!

It feels good in your hand, but the mouse has issues.
Update: After having this mouse for a while I will say it helps with my carpal tunnel. However, it doesn't help with my stress level when I have to continually reset it to get it to work. I've used it on two different laptops and experienced these issues so it isn't the computer, it's the mouse. It's doesn't stay connected. And sometimes, things just stop working, like the buttons. No clue why, but I have to take time out to turn it on and off, reset it, check the settings in system preferences, and basically baby it to get it working again. It's incredibly frustrating when it decides to misbehave while I'm trying to teach an online class. I'm guessing I'm going to have to replace it again because it just isn't reliable. As someone who is on their computer fulltime, ergonomics is important. I'm always testing out new mice to try to find one that is comfortable in my hand. I do graphic and web design so a mouse has to not only be comfortable, but accurate. So far, this one is pretty good. It occasionally gets a bit jumpy, but a few taps and it's fine. I don't know if that's the mouse or my bluetooth connection as I've had that issue with other mice. The scroll button is just sensitive enough that it's easy to use but you don't find yourself accidentally scrolling. I haven't programmed any of the extra buttons because I typically just use the two main ones. But the two thumb buttons could be handy and are in a good spot that feels comfortable to use. The mouse is very lightweight and easy to move with little effort. The bottom slides easily on both my mouse pad and the desk, although I still prefer to use the pad -- it's softer and quieter.I have noticed that my arm and wrist don't hurt as much when I use this mouse as opposed to my old one that kept my hand parallel with the desk. It took a bit of time to get used to holding my wrist sideways, but it does feel better. I don't do a lot of detailed graphic work with the mouse -- I use a tablet for that -- but it is sensitive and accurate enough to do what I need.So far, I'm very happy with this. It was the most affordable ergonomic mouse I could find and it's performing well.

The racing stripe light is OBNOXIOUSLY BRIGHT, otherwise it seems like a nice mouse
I like the size, the hand position, the plastic used, and pretty much everything about it - EXCEPT for the silly racing-stripe LED panel. (Why does every PC accessory need to have decorative LEDs on it nowadays?) The damn thing is so bright it lights up my bedroom at night, so it's currently unused, and will remain so until I can find some paint that will stick properly to the plastic and smother every bit of the light, and I still won't be happy about it because of the utterly wasted energy. I wish I'd been able to find an alternative that did not have the dummy lights, but couldn't, so I just wagered that it wouldn't be too bad. Not so much, sadly.

I am happy with my choice.
Fast, precise, connected quickly, very comfortable. I especially like the feel of the surface material. I am happy with my choice.
