Surprised at how much of a difference these made. Super simple to use, simply cut to size, following the guide lines and pop them into shoes. I added them to my steel toes which were roomy so it actually made them fit better. They are silver so help to reflect thermal energy and the pockets trap air to insulate and reduce heat loss. Great quality.

I'm pleased with the the comfort/warmth. I am a size 5 and one of the reviews recommended not to cut on the 5 line at the heal but make it wider, I did this and they have stayed in place. I would add that the shoe was a work trainer type.

I like how you can cut them to size not given them a proper try not cold enough yet but I have them in my boots ready

Not very good kept sliding

These did not keep my feet warm whatsoever I actually think they made them feel more cold with the aluminium base trapping the cold rather than projecting it away. Also they roll up and slide around in the shoe probably due to the aluminium base not providing any grip to the inside of the shoe.

I have not had chance to use these yet so cannot comment on their thermal properties. The pair I have are different thicknesses (one is 3mm, the other 6mm) A previous review said they were a thin insole, which is what I was looking for to use in a neat fitting sports boot. There is no option to contact the seller to query the pair I have & I have had no reply to an email direct to Blackrock.
