Good product
Fit was good in a Browning BPS.

Pattern looks good on shotkam, good quality
Maybe it is just my inexperience, but I get a lot of plasticky residue on the constriction point in the choke. A brass brush will scrub it off.

Fit like OEM
What can I say, it's a choke tube. Appears to fit like OEM. Whether or not I can hit anything with it will be more dependent on me than the tube.

Might be better
To be honest, I've never patterned any of my chokes. These get a lot of love and they don't cost much if any more than the OEM or other aftermarket choke tubes. So, why not?If you are going to try to pattern these, please do yourself the service of using more than one brand / type of shells. Because different ammo will pattern differently out of the same setup. Otherwise, you won't really know what you have.

I did a lot of research on this
After watching a bunch of videos, some with slow motion and other actual footage and conclusions, this is one of the very best all around patterning choke tube. And, one thing that was also mentioned, the non ported always, not most of the time, but always patterned better.

Best all around hunting choke size, and Carlson's patterns pretty well for steel.
This is my favorite snipe, quail, and jackrabbit tube. The black coating doesn't shine, so it works well for waterfowl as well. Improved modified is probably my favorite choke. Handles Hevyshot very well.
