Good strength, good finish, great value
I bought this to sit outside, as it said suitable for indoors and outdoors. The planter arrived and I was really impressed. It has a good thickness to it which suggests it will last, also, unlike some other planters, it doesn't buckle under the weight of the moist soil.I chose black. It is a deep black with a matte finish. I wasn't sure a plastic planter would do the job, I was transplanting a rosemary bush that had grown like a triffid in this lovely hot weather and it looks surprisingly nice.I used a hot skewer to make three drainage holes in the bottom as it is outside, as suggested ( well they suggested using a drill but that had been nabbed by my offspring so I just took a kitchen BBQ skewer and heated it on the stove and using oven gloves just pushed it through the thick base and voila, drainage holes). The bottom of the planter is shaped to four feet, this allows a little ground clearance and thereby good drainage ( rosemary is not a fan of a soggy bottom).I was so impressed I looked about to see if I had the need for more, sadly I didn't but would have bought more.Overall very impressed.

Good value
Good value plastic pots for the price. I have 2 with rose bushes in and they look really nice. Easy to pop the holes in the bottom and did not split although I did use a drill.

Great pot and good value for money.
A lovely stylish planter and extremely good value for money. You need to drill holes in the bottom for drainage which was easily done. I used it to plant a grape vine. The black trellis fitted into the pot perfectly as it is a good size . I am very pleased with this purchase.

Lightweight but sturdy 40cm planter
Ordered this for one of my spring bulb lasagnes. Very easy to drill drainage holes using the guides on the base. Perfect depth for layer planting of spring bulbs. Comfortably fit 4 layers with plenty of room to add some winter bedding pansies and primroses on top until the bulbs arrive early spring. I was able to carry this easily across the garden despite being full of gravel, compost and dozens of bulbs. The pot felt very sturdy despite being so lightweight. Very pleased with this pot and the price. Will be ordering more in future.

Good product, shame about the packaging
The planters are a good size & strong but light, although it was necessary to drill a drainage hole in the bottom. However, I do have a problem with the delivery. I ordered 6 of the planters, & they were dispatched individually in big cardboard boxes filled with paper padding. They are so light they would easily have gone into one package. The Amazon driver had 197 parcels on his van the day of delivery, & it certainly didn't help him, although as we are at the tail end of his round, it could have been worse. To add insult to injury, our recycling bin had been emptied on the day of delivery, so we are stuck with a bin full of cardboard & paper & no room for household recycling. Have Amazon not heard of the plastic packaging full of air, you can burst and throw away small?

Very sturdy
Was going to buy a trough until a neighbour said that they bow in the middle when full, so I bought three of these instead. I had three Boxus plants that I was growing in front of the railing by the front door, so when they were high enough I would trim them to the level of the railing; unfortunately they developed Box blight, so I had to remove them. I have planted Thuja in these tubs and as they grow quickly I shall have a nice little hedge in front of the railings in no time at all. A lot cheaper than other planters and look good in black.
