very good!
i put one pump of this on my cats wet food every night, and they love it! both of my cats have had noticeably shinier and softer fur since i started using it on a daily basis about a week ago. the portion guide is extremely helpful. i haven’t experienced bottle leakage or any negatives from this product. helps my older cat with her skin condition. amazing quality and value for money!

A real quality product well worth buying
I was attracted to this product as it is from wild sustainable stocks. I’ve used salmon oil previously and like it as a product but there are so many different ones on the market and I know that nor all of them are as they seem. When treating older ,arthritic dogs the EPA and DHA in the omega 3 are really important for me and this product is considerably higher than salmon. Says it’s made from mackerel, herring and anchovies, and I like that you need less than other fish oils. One pleasant thing about this product is that it doesn’t seem to smell which is great and it must taste good as my dogs go mad for it. I know that it’s helping their joints and their coats certainly shine. One persistent hot spot has cleared up nicely too.It has a high level of vitamin E which is important to have in the correct quantities when feeding fish oil. I like this as I don’t have to think about the quantities myself. I also like the extra skin and coat support .All in all very pleased with this . Clearly extremely high quality and worth the money . Will buy a bigger size next time.

Wild & small fish do make a difference
I purchased this for my cats.I like that it's made from wild, small fish.Farmed fish are regularly dosed with antibiotics, & coloured feed (to make the flesh colour more appealing to consumers - just as is done for egg yolks). I don't particularly want traces of antibiotics or colouring going into my cats - their gut flora is sensitive, & maintaining good gut flora is essential for their overall health. Additionally, the balance of Omega fatty acids differs between farmed & wild fish, & the larger the fish (i.e.: The higher up in the food chain), the higher the level of toxins.Despite all of that, I have previously tried to give one of my cats wild salmon oil (an established & popular brand) - she wouldn't touch food that contained it, but happily eats food containing this oil.I like that it doesn't smell overly fishy, that the bottle arrives well sealed, and that the manufacturers are aware of the importance of adding vitamin E (required for metabolising the oil).I don't care for the pump (hence 4 stars only), as it's clearly designed for dogs & larger pets. I fight a battle with it every day, & despite best efforts, still end up cleaning oil from the countertop & bottle after each use.If a reusable measuring syringe or dropper (made to fit the bottle screw neck) were to be made available as an optional extra for smaller pets, I'd save myself the daily hassle, & buy it!

Dog likes it better than salmon oil.
The first bottle I ordered the liquid was solid. I left it at room temp and it became more runny. It said store in fridge or cold place. But it turned solid again. After asking other buyers I was informed this was not right. So ordered another bottle. The second bottle was runny and I could put it in fridge. So I kept it and my dog loves it. Its a little early to say if its working though, but his coat does seem slightly better, we'll have to wait and see. As for measuring it out onto a spoon or little measuring cup, I have no issue with this, in fact I prefer it i think, as opposed to a dispenser type plunger. But that's a matter of your own preference. Would recommend.

Oil us good, pump is rubbish
An excellent quality oil but by unknown reason pump is not working from the beginning, had to use twist/untwist lid and use tea spoon for measuring the product, its not comfortable as causes leaks eventually due drops, had to wipe to top of the bottle to avoid dirty mess.

Seems a good product but hard to tell
I’m on my second bottle of this, or rather the dog is. The vet advised giving her fish or salmon oil to help with her achey joints. I’m not sure it’s making a difference but it’s hard to tell. I have given it 5 stars as the dog finds it very palatable mixed with her food, it’s in an easy-to-use bottle with measuring cup, and it doesn’t smell horrible, in fact it doesn’t smell much at all.
