This is a great glove. My bf kept cutting into the fingers of the cheaper fabric and metal kind, so I got this. I measured his hand twice, ordered the right size and it was pretty darn small. Order a size larger.

Purchased for my son who is a butcher. He is quite pleased with the gloves. He also said the price was unbeatable.

I am a line cook, and I specialise in seafood. I cut salmon every day at work and wearing a cutting glove is necessary due to health and safety requirements under OSHA. The cloth cutting gloves provided at work are horrible, since my knives are razor sharp and they cut through the fabric, and the cloth gloves are nearly impossible to clean.The stainless steel cutting glove that I purchased here on Amazon is exactly what I need to do my job efficiently, with safety and cleanliness involved. It is an easy glove to place on my hand, and is easy to remove and clean.I recommend this glove to anyone who wishes to stay safe whilst handling a knife in the kitchen.

These work a charm. I use them when I’m using my mandolin slicer, and even if I push against the blade directly, my hand is unharmed. The Large is too big for me so they hang off kind of awkwardly. They work anyway, and ordering a large was my own mistake. That said- they fit my husband a lot better. We noticed that if you have awkwardly large hand muscles at the base of your thumb, it’s possible to remove a few links to open the gap further to accommodate. As you can see from my photos, they’ve put snaps on both sides of the cuff, so you can use these on either hand and inside out. They rinse easily and store in a small space.
