These are wonderful! You can use it to secure your glasses if you get them knocked down, want to remove them to quickly clean them, if you go into water - these will not let your glasses sink! (Because it is around your neck!) There is a square where you can pull forward or backward to adjust the length or tightness of the eyeglass holder. The material does get wet and can be dried quickly by air or if you want because it comes with 2 you can switch between them. Very easy to also remove if needed and replace when wanted. It really is for any ages or maybe 6 and up - so they do not choke on it or some mishap. I really wish I found this sooner!It does not damage your glasses in anyway - it attaches to the end of the glasses arms using rubber or silicone tips. Once you insert it and are sure of its position; you can then wear glasses as normal. I tend to tuck it in my shirt collar on formal occasions.

I bought these at the last minute for a Disney World trip. They were great on the rides, all I did was tighten the strap before the roller coaster rides. My glasses never threatened to come off. Also, I wore them at 2 water parks, in the wave pull, family slide ride and lazy river. They worked great.I was in the wave pool for almost 2 hours getting tossed around with water in my face. I've tried several of the other straps for glasses with the little loop at the end. I bought a set of 12 and burned through them very quickly. They come un-done easily and the little metal/plastic band that keeps the loop in place fails easily. The rubber stretches with the same result.This item is THE ONLY one to buy. We've never had to buy a replacement set. They adhere well to the glasses. Cannot say enough good things.

I am a dental hygienist and I bought these to help keep my ergonomic loupes from falling down because the original strap it came with no longer stayed tight on my head. Unfortunately the part that goes on the ear pieces slides off so it defeated the purpose. Might work for regular glasses or sunglasses but not for loupes.
