Love this thing, fun to assemble.Recommend:1) Take care of head2) Put on some kimd of relaxing music3) Don't be in a hurry4) Glance over instructions5) Unpack parts but don'r open the bags yet6) Unroll the shade and let it sit to get the tight roll out of it (you'll understand)7) The center part of the shade has to be alighed almost with the plastic locator "pins" before the little screw will go in.8) Have a friend help you and roll both sides of the shade circles at the same time.9) Chill with your friend for a time.10) Assembling the legs and attaching thr bulb assembly is pretty straight forward.11) Assemble the thing and put in a lightbulb.12) Admire your achievement13) There are little black clips for cable management, check in the parts again14) Sit down, take care of head again while figuring out where to put your cool new lamp15) Thank your friend for their help16) Enjoy your cool new lamp

This lamp is so much nicer than you would think at this price. The assembly…my 9 year old could do it. Think of it as a kiwico box for adults.It looks lovely. Also I thought, am I gonna be that basic b***h with my friggin tripod lamp. I guess I am. This lamp isn’t just mcm it’s classy and classic. You won’t regret.

I was expecting "some assembly required" but was shocked to find that this is a Do It Yourself Lamp Kit!It is completely unassembled!The end result is nice and looks good in my room but I will think twice before ordering from this company again.
