Really neat and user friendly
My son loves to fish and found this on Amazon. He started making his own bait and loves it. This has become a new hobby for him, it’s very user friendly and the first one turned out great. He uses his old baits to make different color.

Great Starter Set For Learning Soft Plastics
I've dabbled in the making of other kinds of lures, but always wanted to give soft plastics a try. When I saw this kit pop up I jumped on it and I'm very glad I did. It's not an in depth, mass production, high level kind of kit. It does however come with everything needed to let you learn the process in a simplified and straight forward way to determine if you want to keep doing it or not. The lures you produce though, are definitely of a high end quality like you would get from a more professional setup. You get enough Plastisol to make several of the two lures and in different colors and glitter combinations. All the components are of good quality and everything is easy to use. The kit I got came with a different more standard style injector than the new bright plastic one they are showing. I feel like they may have down graded the injector now, which is unfortunate for new buyers. I could be wrong though since I've never actually used that new plastic one. The kit does come with easy to follow instructions that will teach you all the basics needed to use everything and make good lures. I would also recommend getting on the YouTubes and doing some more research just to get a more in depth understanding of the process. I was hooked after the very first set of lures I made and have even already started getting more molds and equipment. It's a very satisfying hobby to learn. I am very happy with this kit and very happy I decided to try it. If you are interested in making soft plastic baits then I highly recommend this kit for you to dip your toes into the hobby. In my pictures the curl tail worm is made from a mold that doesn't come in the kit, but it is made using everything else in the kit. That mold is made by this same company too. I used a brown crayon to make the brown pumpkinseed color, which is a coloring technique you can learn from the Youtubes. It works great and is cheap for testing out colors. The Crappie tube jigs are made using a small metal rod, something I also learned from the Youtubes. The two color technique is also something I learned from... you guessed it... the YouTubes. So In short... you can learn a lot about this stuff on the Youtubes!! I'm pretty sure you can also learn how to do brain surgery from YouTube nowadays. Everything is on there!

Nice kit to get a taste of making soft plastics.
First of all I started making my own soft plastics about 9 months ago. You have to enjoy it for it to be worth while. That being said, I wish I had found this kit in the beginning. I do enjoy it but the cost to get started was well high. It Took a couple of months to start. This Kit has everything you need to try it out. The injection mold is a small 45ml injector with a standard 5/8" tip that fits most all molds. It will fill both molds maybe 2 times in one pull. It has a twist lock to keep the tip on while injecting which is a huge positive. Also has a plastic sleeve that does help with the heat but you will still need some sort of gloves. TIP: Pre-heat your injector before drawing your first pull so the plastisol doesn't gel in the injector to quickly (I use a heat gun). It has 2 plastic molds. 1 5" Senko worm and 1 4" paddle tail swimbait. Probably the most used soft plastics in the market. These Molds are plastic with 3 bolts in one side and wingnut to clamp them together. They make a really nice bait with a nice finish so long as you oil them every couple of worms. These are not my favorite molds, but they work just fine. I have engineers stone, and aluminum molds that are easier to clamp multiple molds at once. I don't like fiddling with the wing nuts too much. You also get a 0.25L bottle of medium blend best_nj luresol which will make several baits. I have not yet tried the brand of plastisol yet because I am finishing off a bottle of my other brand name plastisol. 2 small bottles of colorant come with the kit. One is almost a lime green the other is yellow. Not exactly what I consider chartreuse but could be combined to make chartreuse. Only takes a few drops. The less colorant you use, the more translucent the bait will be. You just have to play with it to get the desired effect you want. 2 small baggies of glitter. My kit had a really fine red and fine silver. I would have preferred a medium sized glitter but the amount, and color are fine and do what they are supposed to do, Shimmer light. Overall this is a great kit to try it out. Everything you need to start is here except a measuring cup, thermometer, and microwave. I have my own cups and microwave just for this. The smallest amount of plastisol (luresol) I can find to buy is 1qt for about $25. that being said this kit is cheaper than buying each component individually.

Not bad
The reason for 3 stars was because the box arrived damaged, when I opened it, it looked like a glitter bomb went off. The ejection gun and the casings seem to be good qualit. Once I buy more glitter, I am excited to use it.

First lure kit
This is the first artificial bait making kit I have ever used. It was pretty easy to use, just follow the instructions and move somewhat quickly, the silicone cools fast. I would advise to only draw in 1oz of the liquefied silicone at a time, that should be enough to make one bait. The kit comes with 2 molds, yellow and green dye, 2 bags of glitter, syringe and 9oz of Luresol soft bait making solution. The instructions are easy to follow and have illustrations of each step. Cleanup is a breeze. This is a great kit for a beginner or even an experienced bait maker. I do recommend this product. Tight lines and happy fishing.
