Extremely bright and well-built, it's currently the brightest flashlight I own ( I own two). It will light up an entire room and is great for outdoors and emergencies, as it allows you to charge it via USB-C and is also battery-powered by 3 AAA batteries. I dropped one of the flashlights from 6ft and absolutely nothing happened to the flashlight; it works great. I've owned these flashlights for 5-6 months and have had no issues with charging, it holds its charge very well; however, I don't use them daily. I don't consider it a tactical flashlight because you have to cycle through all the modes to turn off the flashlight, or hold the power button for 2 full seconds for it to power off. I like my tactical flashlight to turn on/off with a single button push. I left the flashlights on from their highest setting; they get slightly warm, but it's nothing uncomfortable or concerning, and they were still running 3.5 hours later when I decided to call it a night.

All of a sudden bears showed up at our bird feeders and I was very reluctant to go outside at night with our dog. I bought this flashlight on a whim but it is unexpectedly phenomenal. Since we live in a very rural area, having this flashlight is really a lifesaver. I turn it on and twist the top to give maximum coverage going out in pitch-black night and this gives me the complete ability to see our yard and road, about 1/2 mile from the house. I bought this particular flashlight because it tells you how charged the battery is, which is very helpful when you've used it for a long time. With this flashlight I can go outside at night with confidence that I know what's there. (I've seen similar ones on TV and thought, oh the brightness can't be true, but it is.) Love that you can change the light from pinpoint to broad coverage.

Works terrific for the cost! This is my go to light for power outages or if i'm in my homes crawlspace. The front of the light slides in and out to adjust the beam, when focused the beams throw is surprisingly long. Battery percentage is a great touch to know if it needs topped off before the next project.

The only draw-back is that unlike all others of similar type I have owned (multiple) in the past - which "One-Click On / One-Click Off" (then "recall" last used brightness selection - to come on at the same level/setting as last use) - this one requires you to "cycle" all the way through ALL its setting/options - ALWAYS coming on, 1st-click as FULL-BRIGHT. Then, click again for 1-level dimmer - another click for 2nd-level dimmer, and then even a 3rd (nice "features", but...)! Lastly, the full-bright "SOS" Option. ...So, it takes 5 total presses, from initial (FULL BRIGHT) on - to "scroll through" to get it to turn back off.This light ("torch") would be a full 5-stars with the same functionality (single click on/off & "memory" of last-use - to be able to set a "preference" with) as all others seem to have. The USB-C direct-connect rechargeability is a huge plus for this, and it also comes with an interchangeable 3-AAA-Cell cartridge (keep in your pocket for quick change-out if the rechargeable cell starts to fade) that I recommend Energizer Ultimate Lithium's (a bit more $$) which last "forever"!Just be prepared for 1st press activation to result in "INSTANT DAYLIGHT" in front of you wherever you point it, and as long as you are aware, and/or that is what you are looking for - then this is probably even best-in-class in initial brightness/illumination for any of the "super-bright" such LED flashlights we have ever used.

Bought for a Christmas gift! My husband loves it! Once fully charged, it last a very long time! It is very bright! Would buy again & recommend, especially for the hunters!
