Shredder quiet, works well, excellent value for money

This is my third shredder, and the best I have owned.Last one was a cheap Bonsaii. Noisy and kept stopping to cool down. Ended up down to 3 sheets at a time.I had a lot of old notes to shred so I bought this Leitz.I was concerned that it stated run time only 6 minutes before cooling. However, I have now shredded 2 full bin bags full of shredding and it has not shut down to cool once. Admittedly, I have not shredded continuously, but it has run for at leat 10 minutes at a time with short breaks for emptying the bucket and doing other things. Copes fine with staples as well.I have just checked, and it will shred 10 sheets (I have mostly shredder 5-6 at a time).Shredder is also quite quiet (for a shredder). It cuts to fine pieces, as claimedAlso comes with 12 oiling papers.It looks smart and feels well made.I think it is fantastic for a sub £100 shredder.

Needed to upgrade from a very cheap old shredder that could cope with a few extra pages to keep my office tidy. This shreds really well, takes 10 pages at a time with ease, is really ease to use and hasn't clogged yet! I can't really fault it at all, but I still feel it's a rather large price tag for something that is just a fancy bin!!

Seems to be a good, solid, well made unit. Does everything it needs to.

The media could not be loaded. Solid piece of kit.Bought this after being fed up manually feeding paper into my previous shredder. With this beast you could do that, but you can also just open the lid and stuff a massive pile of paper in and walk away. It just works it'ls way through it all. If it comes across some thick card or stuff all folded up, you hear it automatically reverse and retry a few times. Most of the time it resolves itself and carries on. Very impressive.It also comes with a thick manual which I haven't even opened. No idea what's in that because it seems to all just work automatically. Maybe I'll shred that too because it's so much fun now :)

It’s a great shredder - this is my second. The first one jammed up and no longer shreds . Does not particularly like small items like receipts which jam the shredders

Had this shredder 4 years and have used it a handful of times. Today it just refused to switch on. Really disappointed

My Fellows shredder died and my first thought was to replace it like for like. So pleased that I didn’t as this is better. Shreds the same but is so very much quieter that it was a shock.
