Q: Can you use this with mics?

NO!!! While the XLR-style cables are the same, this is designed to split DMX signals used for controlling lights. The voltages and signals are completely different from audio signals. If you want to split audio signals from mics, I would recommend looking at the ART pro audio boxes: http://www.artproaudio.com/product-category/patchbays-splitters/

Q: Can you connect a dmx dongle to this? I’ve tried to do so with the donner dmx512. It keeps blinking red.

If need .can connect a dmx wireless receiver ,not dmx wirelss transmitter. it keeps blinking red because it do not patch the signal from a DMX transmitter. (Note:the dmx wireless receiver should connetct to dmx input end of dmx Splitter )

Q: Does the 4-port model have an internal terminator for the input line, or is the user expected to place a terminator on the (direct) output port?

Unlike the larger, 6/8-port models, the 4-port model doesn't have an internal termination mechanism. However, I have found that as long as this isn't at the end of a long chain (e.g. you're just running one line directly to it from your console, and never using the "output" daisy chain ports), a terminator usually isn't necessary.

Q: Could it use in 277V?

No, you need a transformer for 277V.
