This is an ideal gift to any chemistry lover, not just doctors and pharmacists. It is not merely a list of medicine. It contains composition, toxicity etc of even common chemicals like beeswax.Before buying this book, I always used to think "what am I going to do with that book?". Now, I bring it to any chemistry class I teach.Cons:It does not contain toxicity, density table, isolation and preparation methods for every chemical. Oftentimes it only refers to another book where you can find said data, which is pretty annoying and valueless unless you are in the middle of a giant library.
