Amazing additive that actually works. My fur baby would scratch (and even groan) A LOT. I did some research and completely eliminated chicken from her diet. If a product, including treats, has chicken, I won’t buy it. I added pureed pumpkin to every meal for gut health, and that helped. I randomly came across this product and saw the positive reviews, and gave it a try. I’m on my 3rd bag! What confirmed that this product works… my fur baby just went through a shedding season, along with the transition to spring. She scratches the most during that time, but not this year.I’m probably more pleased than my baby. lolI can’t give a timeline on how long it takes to see results, but I ordered my first bag in March. Be consistent, like every day consistent. Because she actually liked it, I felt obligated to feed it to her every day. ***Overall, BUY IT!*** lol

My dogs love this food topper! And I feel good about giving them beets which they like raw from the garden.

I love all three Olewo products. This one I add to my dogs’ breakfast. It provides nutrients and fiber and they love it.

Puppy loves it, but we haven't used it long enough to be sure it will help with his itching. It seems to be improving.

As a disclaimer, I have not actually used this product for its intended purpose.When I bought it, it was shipped to my home in a cardboard amazon box along with the other items in my order. It was one of those oblong boxes around 18" x 8" x 8". The box sat on my dining table. I have two bichon frises (8 and 11 lbs) and the 11 lb dog (I think) pushed the box onto the floor and ate a hole in the cardboard box right next to where these beets were in the box. She then ate a hole in the package and she and my other dog proceeded to gorge themselves on these beets.At least, because they are beets/vegetables and ok for dogs, we did not have to take them to the vet. However, be aware that consumed in large quantities, because the beets are dehydrated, they will suck up all liquid in your dog's tummy and make your dog EXTREMELY thirsty. So thirsty that in the middle of the night, multiple times, I woke up to an empty water bowl and my dog barking incessantly at the bathroom sink because she was so thirsty. Also, consumed in large quantities, your dog may not be able to process all of these beets and will poop them out the same way they went in, just darker and slightly rehydrated. If you have carpet or light colored furniture, beware that this will make your dog poop red dye that will stain like no other. It took two days for my larger dog's poop and drinking habits to return to normal (she ate the most).Tldr; when you get this in the mail, don't leave it lying around, because dogs can smell this straight through the package, other things in the box, and cardboard box, and it smells really good, but has unwanted results when consumed in large quantities.

I am so happy I tripped over this product! My dog has had this itching problem in his groin area and under arms, hid skin gets bright red when inflamed. I have always made my own dog food, meat , veggies and some quinoa. But, evidently I missed something. The licking has stopped (after 1 week! And; the color of his skin in those areas has gone from bright red to pink AND the hair is growing back. I will be ordering more of this and telling everyone about it. Thank you, Jan S.
