great set, got them singing immediately, the sound can be felt as much as heard. these are not tuned, this was not a factor for me, but may be important to some. Has a little doughnut pad for each bowl, and came with large and small wood "strikers", both plain and with suede. Overall an excellent set. Tones of singing bowls can be changed by experimenting with putting water in them, Im experimenting.

i bought these for my mom and she love them, the only con that she had with the singing bowls are the wooden sticks that make them vibrate didn't came with the leather but other than that she could make them sing with no problem 9.5/10

These bowls are machine made (not handmade like the listing says), they are all very small in size but beautiful to look at. Individually they each have a nice but short tone, played together they are awful. These are supposed to be a 'Chakra set' yet none of the pitches match up to the chakra carving on the bowls. In fact, not a single tone was pure, all were out of tune in sharps and flats. From largest to smallest the pitches I received were A-flat,B#, D-flat, A-flat, F-flat, F#, and B-flat. A big disappointment because these are useless if you are looking to use these for any kind of healing.

CHECK & TEST YOUR BOWLS FOR ACTUAL PITCH BEFORE USING FOR SOUND HEALINGIf you are using Tibetan Bowls as a means of sound healing for yourself or others it is important that each bowl is tuned properly to each chakra. Absolutely none of these bowls are the right tone for the chakra they are intended for. Also a few bowls had very dissonant overtones which actually could be upsetting or have a negative impact on clients.Every set may be different, but when using a tuning instrument I discovered this (from smallest to largest)Bowl #1 : Crown ChakraShould be a B, is tuned to A (Third Eye)Bowl #2: Third Eye ChakraShould be a A, is tuned to F# (Not useful)Bowl #3: Throat ChakraShould be a G, is tuned to F (Heart)Bowl #4: Heart ChakraShould be a F, is tuned to D (Sacral)Bowl #5: Solar Plexus ChakraShould be an E, is tuned to A#(Although this does not exist on the C Major scale, this note is great for stimulating the Pineal Gland so the bowl itself is still useful for therapy)Bowl #6: Sacral ChakraShould be a D, is tuned to G (Throat)Bowl #7 Root ChakraShould be a C, is tuned to E (Solar Plexus)For the price I do think at least a couple of these bowls will be salvageable for my sound healing practice, particularly the A#, and Heart Chakra ones, but other bowls will not be useful.

I ordered the cheapest one of these sets I could find. That is what I got. The response to the mallet varies from bowl to bowl. Some are good some not so much. Got what I expected. If I had purchased a more expensive set I would be disappointed. These are what I ordered. If you want a better set, buy a more expensive set.

The product description reads that these are handmade however they are not. A handmade bowl wood make a sound for at least 30+ seconds and you’re lucky if these hold a sound and vibration for five seconds.
