Accurate temperature/humidity/barometric pressure, works with weather hub
I bought this to expand my Ambient Weather weather hub/observerIP2 station and it works great. The weather hub picks it up quickly and it shows up as "indoor" information on the Ambient Weather app and "live data" page of the weather hub. Temperature seems accurate with respect to other thermometers I have and it alternates between showing temperature + humidity and barometric pressure. Seems pretty efficient with battery use; I try to use Lithium AAs whenever possible (they have gotten pretty expensive these days though for some reason) and I expect it won't need batteries for several years. You can only have one of these units connected/paired to the weather stations/weather hub but can typically have 8 of the WH31 series (WH31E or WH31P) for more temperature/humidity monitoring. Overall, this is a worthwhile addition to an existing Ambient Weather system.

Good product but be careful - It's not a second channel sensor for the Ambient Weather Stations.
Seemed to work fine, but I could not connect it with our WS-5000 weather station because is NOT a multi-channel sensor you can add to an existing Ambient Weather Station. It is a replacement for the one included in the WS-5000 package. I gave it this rating because the one I have with the weather station works great.The product description notes that you should not confuse it with the WH31E, but does not specify why. The why is that it does not feature the channel selection needed to add it to a weather station that already has a thermo-hygro-barometer.

The literature needs to be more clear.
I bought this so that I could get barometer readings from my new weather station. I was surprised to find another one was already included with the weather station. Now I have 2 but can only use 1 of them.

Very functional. Low visibility screen to save battery juice. But it works as advertised.
