One of Julia Donaldson's best!
Julia Donaldson is the best writer of books for small children since Dr. Seuss, and other than *The Gruffalo*, this is my favorite of hers. Great rhyme scheme, fun twists to the story of a procrastinating fish, and Axel Scheffler's illustrations are perfect. Reviewing this makes me wish my 17 year old son was 4 or 5 again, just for a day, so I could read this to him and his playmates one more time. Well, maybe grandkids someday.

Julia Donaldson Fan
We had to leave my son’s The Snail and the Whale book in the UK so imagine the excitement when he received a replacement plus a new addition to his Julia Donaldson favorites, Tiddler!

Coolest fish in the sea!
Educational, funny, adventure. The kind of book parents enjoy reading again and again because we are the ones enjoying it.

Fun!
Another great addition by this author and illustrator. We own almost everyone of this team’s books, and our four year old adores them. The funny thing is noticing the subtle word differences between the original UK and the N.American versions. Honestly, most people in N America do understand these differences, and I wish they would not change them for North American readers.

Wonderful children’s book
This is my favorite children’s author. All my grandchildren live her creative stories. The eight year old didn’t want to listen while I read but by page three he was snuggled up listening to every word. When asked if he liked the story he said I loved it.

Great book for kids and parents
My 7 month old loves this book and think he will continue to as he gets older. And I don't get bored reading it several times a week

Beautiful story
I like all of Ms. Donaldson's stories, this is no exception. I loved reading it with my son, who like Tiddler has a big imagination. He is also a big fan of the animated series Octonauts and very curious about sea animals. All the lines in this story does not rhyme, most lines do. Did anyone else notice the gruffalo fish?

my granddaughter keeps asking me to read it
I got this because my grandkids loved other books by this author and illustrator- The Gruffalo and Tabby McTat. It has beautiful illustration and the story is just complicated enough to keep them engaged and thinking.
