If you are buying the exact size of your rug, don’t make the mistake I did and not trim (enough) beforehand. We ordered a 10x14 rug but when it came, the measurements showed the rug was slightly less than that. I had to cut a good deal off the rug pad.However, I cut the pad right to the edge of the rug and you could see the rug sitting on top of the pad. It bothered me so I tried to trim just a little more. Then started to add some rug tape. Standing back I could then see pieces of rug tape and still parts of the pad. It was looking sloppy!Finally, I took a full inch off the pad and used long strips of rug tape along the edges of the rug and now the rug looks perfect. (I googled it and read the pad should be 1-4” shorter than the rug.)Moral of the story, trim enough of this pad so you don’t see it underneath which takes away from the aesthetics! Overall, makes our rug more cushiony and it’s definitely not going anywhere. I’m glad we went with the 1/4 inch because any thicker and the edges would not have laid as flat. Great product!

Bought 3 different brands to try out and still have one to arrive. This one is a beautiful felt that you can see different fibers in and the total thickness is more than 1/8inch that was the Gorilla brand. So if you like more cushioning underfoot, get this one. No objection odor per my hubby with the more sensitive nose. Both brands help prevent slippage on our laminate floors.

As described and a very good quality. I bought it to go under a large area rug under the kitchen table. The area rug was backed with jute and I needed a thin pad to protect my floor. This was perfect!

I purchased a 5x8 version of this pad and LOVED it. Promptly ordered the 4x6 size for another rug. However, I was surprised to find that the felt side of the 4x6 was very different than the 5x8; the 5x8 feels noticeably softer and springier to me compared to the all-gray 4x6 (both pads were 1/4" thick). When I messaged RugPadUSA about the difference, they responded that while the felt content remains the same, the recycled material may change from batch to batch. Since there was no telling what kind of felt backing I’d get if I ordered a replacement for the 4x6, I kept it but was disappointed. Apart from that, both pads flattened out nicely, had no odor and stay in place under both rugs.

I purchased this to cushion a thin washable rug in my office. It gives it the perfect padding. Clean, easy to uncurl or unfold, it has a backing that makes it anti-slip as well. Will definitely purchase for a runner I have as well.

Purfect for what we needed. We have a table top that our cats jump on to access our pet window, but it was super slick and it caused them to slip and slide. I bought the mat so it would provide a safe "landing pad" and adds a think layer of softness for them to lay on. I'll add some "rug like" material to lay over it, but this mat definitely does the trick!

Ordered 1/4" and it was perfect for comfort and bonus with non slip backing. I did not notice any odor from product, would definitely purchase again!

Pads are great quality. Thick and stay in place. I purchased 4.I had an issue with one of my pads not being delivered with the others. Customer service was phenomenal when I reached out. They followed up and tracked the pad down.Very happy customer!
