Bought this as a gift for my Anime junkie friend. He loved it and remarked on its size noting that it was a big thick book. I also read the book and I loved the beautiful bittersweet nature of the story.Now we both can go see the movie!

I actually have not seen the movie yet. But when I came across this complete manga edition I just had to have it. It's a beautiful book and I read through it in one day. Heart-wrenching for sure, with a little twist that will punch you in the throat. I felt like some of the side characters like Kyoko and Sakura's family could have gotten a bit more time on the page. But otherwise I enjoyed it a lot and I look forward to having my heart stomped on a second time when I finally watch the movie.The book itself is fairly thick and since it's paperback I was worried about ruining the spine especially when trying to read or see details close to the middle, but I was careful with it and it held up fine by the time I was done.It arrived in really good condition. Which is shocking because they really just threw it in a box and said good luck. Thanks, I guess.If you are even halfway debating reading this manga, I absolutely recommend it. Or watch the anime movie. Or do both! I think it's worth it. One of the reasons I initially wanted to read this story was because I thought it was a romance, but I honestly connected a lot with [?????]-kun. I will probably be re-reading this again soon because of that.
