You want to stop that annoying tick when you start your car. Get this.
I use these on my wife's 2004 Kia Sorento with 195000 miles. The startup is notoriusly noisy and she doesn't like to push the gas pedal when starting the car. So the car just ticks! OMG (in Bob's Burgers Bob voice). This stops that problem with a really nice anti drain-back valve that actually works. Just get this filter, every time.

Good quality
Made in china but build quality was good. They even put plastic over the rubber seal. Fram doesn't do that. Thumbs up China!

Jerks sent the wrong freaking filter.
I have a subscription for this item to show up every 3 months. The first delivery was done right . I got the right filter. This last one in August showed up, I didn't need it until today. I lift my car up. Get under there, drain the oil. Pull the tires off and get to the oil filter. Pull it off. Take the new filter ice had for about two months and it won't go on! I take a look at the old filter and the new filter. These idiots sent me the wrong freaking filter. Now I have my car on stands, no oil in the engine and the wrong freaking filter. I will cancel my subscription right now and never subscribe to any Amazon item again. I used to subscribe for paper towels and trash bags. Total Rip off. I found larger and cheaper replacements at Sam's club.

Flat Seal, Not O-Ring - Otherwise it's a decent filter
The picture shows a rounded o-ring type seal like a factory filter. In reality it's a typical aftermarket square cut seal like a fram or wix. It's not a bad part, just not what I expected according to the picture. I gave it three stars because it is a run-of-the-mill filter like you can get at any parts store or Wal~Mart.
